I do it only when we've been on a few dates, hooked up etc... Then again, I have an eclectic personality, so I do things differently.

No. It doesn't even cross my mind. Go ahead and do it if you like, but don't get caught up with it, there are hundreds of ways of being polite to other people for any one thing to matter that much.

This whole subject is a matter of taste. Some girls like a guy who pays for everything, follows all the rules in those articles in Cosmopolitan about what "gentlemen" are supposed to do. Some girls don't want that guy.

The question is, which kind of girl do YOU like? Someone who wants a "traditional" guy who does those things for her? Or someone who rates a guy on different things?
