Didnt take any rolly (cig) filters with me to force myself to talk to people. Im extroverted,no anxiety.

Soon as I arrived to the rock/pop club went out to the smoking area and use the filters to open sets. Right off the bat I opened a good set with hb8 and her friend, couldnt physically escalate because she was sitting down. All good went to the dance floor with them and left after a while to open more sets, maybe come back later. Its weird dancing to metal/scremo.

More sets were opened, some failed at contact (dismissed with weird look/eyeroll) others would fall apart because :

  • this hb7 that was telling about hows shes flexible in bed, tells me shes got a gf,little after she starts shouting at some girl and they go talk. I leave, dont see her again
  • theyd go get a drink (im in the smoking area), id say id come in a bit, didnt find them.

after a while i was on the second floor scanning the dance floor when I meet eye contact with this HB8.5 and she keeps looking at me and returns smile. She goes out and a bit after that I meet her at the smoking area. Open with the filter line, get loads of IOI back. I sit down next to her and escalate touching her legs and shoulder. They start saying stuff in welsh to 'teach' me, so i ask her how you say "i think youre sexy" and say it to the hb8.5. She likes it and says the after party is at hers. I tell her Im alone and will stay with her till it finishes (30 min) as I would lose her otherwise. I think that lowered my smv in retrospect

Loads of innuendos. Now for a sec i think about kissing her but decide to take the next opportunity . . bad mistake

She goes back in dancing and I go with. We dance next to this guy she apparently knows. I grind with her and a bit after the guy just completly stole her. She wasnt even interested in me. Literally went for the other guy.

It gets worse. Last set: Open with this chick, we go to dance and its getting really steamy. We makeout. Then her friends arrive and they dance, no problem i can share. They dance and dance and then i notice theyre groping each other which leads to heavy makeout. Adding salt to injury to say when i approached her as we left, she says 'snooze you lose'.

So there you go. The night went nowhere, and I dont get it.

Otherwise I had fun, met loads of people, yet I feel like im missing out bad. I try to be outcome dependant and tell myself I am, but im still disappointed.

edit: i dont daygame,like at all. Ill talk to people on the streets but never approach any hb. Often times girls have headphones and also look like theyre in a rush, which repels me from talking to them.

I also think my dancing doesnt help; i just try to have fun it just seems like people arent intersted,especially if i try opening a set on the dancefloor-never works.
