On Saturday night I was in line at a club and attempted to game three girls in front of me. I started talking to one of them about her English literature major and how she was interested in writing children's pictorial books, as well as her musicological studies in 70s rock music. I also complimented the other one on her blue lipstick and briefly talked about her job at some Mexicali restaurant on the same street. They both came across neutral in their responsiveness toward me (they answered my questions) but it eventually got to the point where they cut me off from their conversations and I somehow polarized them toward non-receptivity, albeit on a much subtler level - I could sense it in their physical positioning, cutting me off from view. I was left with the impression from these body language and physical cues that they were not interested in me, let alone any guy in the club from what I later observed in the club. It was merely a girl's night out for them (confirmed when I eventually saw all three of them them on the street at the end of the night hitching a taxi). Has anyone had any previous experience with dealing with scenarios of indirect rejection like what I have just described? I'm rather surprised I handled the situation well and moved on, but was there any possible way I somehow could of turned it around?
