Men, if you are trying to level yourself up and are dealing with doubts or negative thoughts, CHANNEL EVERYTHING. Have a negative thought? DO IT ANYWAY. Have anxiety? DO IT ANYWAY. Lean into the fear. RIDE it. It might be difficult as fuck, but only judge your success by how hard you try and how well you stick to the process. Eat garbage food? Judge yourself for that. Miss a workout or activity that you have set? Judge yourself for that. Wake up feeling like crap? DON'T judge yourself for that. Put yourself out on a limb and look like a fool or get laughed at? DON'T judge yourself for that. Laugh with em! Smile big than a motherfucker. You win that one because you put yourself out there in the face of doubt.

Don't focus on certain outcomes. Only focus on DOING IT. Take regular steps back and look at where you stand relative to your goals. Constantly course correct. Focus mainly on that you are pushing yourself a little bit every day. This means literally making friends with fear, crippling or not. Put yourself out there, rest. Put yourself out there, rest.

You might be making right choices, like doing NoFap or eating healthy. You might be getting extra energy or urges that you're not familiar with. Take those energy spikes and DO SOMETHING WITH THEM. You might feel great, but the mind still wants to run down the same negative thought patterns that it's familiar with. Don't give yourself time to think negatively. Do your best to live in the current moment. Constantly focus on the inner energy field of your body. What's going on right now? Can I feel myself in this moment? Constantly ask yourself that. Constantly feel yourself grounded in the present moment and what you are doing, and try to operate out of that. If you have excess energy and your mind starts to try to play tricks on you, CHANNEL THAT ENERGY. I don't care if you have to stand up and beat your chest like Tarzan. Fucking do it. Don't be a pussy.

Remind yourself that you are a fucking man and you have CONTROL over your life. YOU are on a path to bettering yourself, and you don't need that unconscious low-vibration shit that you're thinking about. TRUST THE PROCESS and know that against all of your fears, the better man that you become will reward you ten times more than any short-term pleasure or excuse that you can make.

Become obsessed with brainwashing yourself with positive attitudes. CONSTANTLY visualize the truths that you want to embody. In the morning and several times throughout the day, breathe deeply and remind yourself that you deserve to be happy. Visualize it. Visualize yourself achieving what you want to achieve, and visualize yourself being happy. Visualize the feeling of being happy. Breathe and visualize, breathe and visualize, breathe and visualize….

In Nathaniel Branden's book, The 6 Pillars of Self Esteem, he points out that there are a bunch of +1's and -1's in your life. Every time you take personal responsibility for yourself and do the actions that you know you should, your self esteem goes up, and every time you give into fear or other negative influence and make a decision that you are not proud of, your self esteem goes down. It's all these +1's and -1's that make up your self-esteem. And he notes that it doesn't matter if anyone knows about it. YOU know about it, so it still counts. That's why it's called SELF-esteem. It's absolutely essential that you make choices you are proud of if you want to raise your self-esteem.

I want to add my own note that it's a progression. Don't hold yourself accountable to do something way outside of your ability. It's about consistent small steps. Only focus on pushing yourself to the next level. Become OBSESSED with gradual progressions. EVERY DAY.

Improving yourself is not easy. In fact, carving new territory is very much like fighting in some epic battle. Society and ourselves can be very hard to go up against. I always compare it to Leonidas in that movie 300. The key is to know the path. Turn your mind off to excuses and dive blindly into fear.

--> You are successful if you push yourself and make CONSISTENT and PROGRESSIVE steps, no matter how small.
