I'm seeing this girl (A) right now. We've hung out a lot (I lived in the same housing as her before I switched jobs) and been on one actual "date," and we've already had sex a fair amount. All in all it's been about two weeks since we've explicitly expressed interest in each other.

Tonight I'm scheduled for a date I made about a week or so ago with another girl (B). Girl A and I haven't talked about being committed yet, so I felt that I might as well go on this one seeing as I scheduled it and all. I'm also a little worried about putting all my eggs in one basket with A so to speak, as it's not entirely clear where we stand regardless of how well it's going, and she now lives an hour away.

I'm new to the whole "talking to"/relationship thing so I just wanted to use this situation to ask when/how you guys usually start gauging something serious enough to be monogamous/committed to someone.
