I'm a lot like you. Let me give you some general advice:

You don't need to say hi to every woman you see. In fact, since you seem like an introvert, doing that will be really counterproductive. You should talk to only two different women: Women that give clear signs of interest and women that you're familiar with. Alos here's a Venn diagram I made about my romantic relationship to women. Realize that all women will fall into these categories.
In high school I was really into theater. What helped me out tremendously was writing out scripts of hypothetical pick up conversations and then testing out what works or what doesn't work. Like for instance, starting a conversation out with an "Excuse me" will be completely different than saying "Hey" or "Sup". You can also write out potential questions, responses, and funny monologues.
Since you don't have some crippling ugliness, working out and dressing better will work really well for you. Basically what you're doing is just raising your attractiveness. Learning game is cool because it helps you get laid, and I really recommend it. However gaming girls that suck is a waste of time.
Also, the foundation of any good "game" just comes from push-pull dynamics. Sometimes you have to push them away or pull them towards you, physically and/or verbally. That's how you get them engaged.
