It's all about your vibe.

If you have the right emotional state, strong eye contact, great body language, positivity and masculinity flowing through you... anything can "work".

I don't know why, but i've NEVER had any success with any type of direct opener like that. the typical ''Hi, I saw you from over there, thought you looked cute in that dress, my name's famine'' that are always recommended in pua books etc

I find it always set the conversation off in a way where the girl always looks a bit weirded out and kind of 'defensive'? Kind of on guard.

Maybe it's because i'm in the UK and there's a slight cultural difference

For me, every time I open either using a funny observation or even a kind of silly routine like pretending to know her, it works better. She seems 10x more relaxed and isn't trying to end the convo, which is good

I wish this wasn't the case, because a lot of the time, say if there's nothing interesting/situational to comment on, I can't approach, so various opportunities slip through my fingers

You will eventually find out what you say... does not matter! Men communicate logically, women communicate emotionally. Don't worry so much on what you're going to say but as to how you're going to say it/deliver it. Lines/breakers only work if you're 100% convinced they'll work, otherwise you'll just come across as a robot reciting a stupid line. IMO it's much easier focusing on coming across confident, unapologetically flirty, self amused, than remembering stupid lines.
