Are you white? Very many white people need to drink in order to feel the music. (Other ethnicities can have this problem too, but like a huge number of white peoples have it) Once you feel the music you just relax and let go and go with the feeling and pump out basic generics dance moves haha but you look normal.

If there is a way to feel the music with out drinking someone please tell me they'd 87% of the reason I drink. And I rather not drink.

I want to give you more advice but I haven't field tested it to parse out definitive rules.

This is what my gut tells me from reflecting on my past experiences but it's not scientific. Try testing it but don't take the following advice as rules.

If you aren't feeling the music and dancing naturally, walk up strong to the girl and don't dance up to her. You court pull her in and start dancing or try to take her some where. (It's easy to dance with girls.)

You may have better luck finding girls on the side and talking to them then taking them to the dance floor.

I like clubs where you can meet girls in a quieter part then take them to the dance floor. Or visa Versa.

Also I'd recommend finding friends to go out with or atleast just a wing man. It makes thanks much easer to have someone or a groop to go back to. And if your groop is a mix of girls and guys y'all can dance together in the dance floor, you can have fun then much more easily get a girl who is dancing

Having fun shouldn't require so much thinking. You're in a fun place; have fun; be fun.

I objectively can't dance; I have literally been unable to keep up or get back on rhythm in every beginner dance class I've been to over the years. BUT at every wedding and party, everyone always talks about how I have "moves" and always complement my dancing. Just do it. Not dancing is always more uncomfortable than dancing.

Ok, here's the thing. When I go into nightclubs, I like the Vibe, I like the music, I like the Dj's, I like the people, but I dislike the dance floor.

The reason I don't like the dance floor is because I really can't dance.

Then you really don't like clubs. It's like you just said that you're really into exercise but you can't abide sweating.

If you don't like dancing, dancing venues and events are not for you.

Want to change it? There are no shortcuts. Just take dance classes.
