I'd recommend a lounge before a bar. Wear an evening suit. Looks way better than just club attire. I'm not a fan of clubs but Bungalow in Santa Monica, and Standard or Perch in Downtown are both all great. I prefer Perch, but Standard comes in a close second. Both are rooftop bars.

I'd start by hitting the streets. Make friends. Head to next spot. Solves the problem of potentially looking/feeling chodey when walking into venue alone. I haven't even been going into venues b/c it's impossible to hear.

i would rather go to a club where you can get lost in the crowd and nobody will notice you are on your own. At a bar, with less people...looks harder.

Buy a small bottle of champagne, 3 disposable flutes, engage with the people waiting in line, tell them it was a weird business gift, ask if they don't go blind drinking it because they where shady people. Idk man, have fun
