Oh wow that's quite the endeavor. I usually try to keep texting down to a minimum and secure a date as soon as possible. But, I have had scenarios where I've done the long distance thing with only dating the girl for a few months so I'll try my best to give me two cents. Try to avoid texting if it's going to be seven months. Instead, phone calls, or skype would be a big game changer. Thing is with texting, there's a disconnect, a lack of actual human interaction; you don't get to see facial expressions, hear their tone of voice. They may seem emphatic through a text, but they're not actually excited. Maybe by initiating or at least hinting at engaging in a better means of communicating would be better and you'd be able to secure a legitimate relationship. People make all sorts of excuses when it comes to text. She also will know that you're serious about moving things forward by wanting to see her face. Good luck!

Usually, you should avoid texting a girl for to long, as others have said, meeting face-to-face is way better. It also allows for things like touching and seeing the girls facial expressions and so on.

But if you really can't meet up due to distance, then try to set up skype webcam chat couple of times, don't be to clingy tho. Just tell her you'd rather see her face and skype with her again when you feel like it. Every 2nd weekend should be good, you have more things to talk about if there is a bigger gap in between the skype sessions.

Huh?!?! Are you moving to another state/country or something and have been getting in contact with women from that area 7 months out??

If that's the case, just stop. Now. Wait till you actually get in these people's areas. There is no such thing as "Long Game" texting. You will run out of things to say and the conversation will easily lose its "oomph".
