Things won't change until you change. If you need help then get help. Many people have various forms of anxiety and depression and help is out there but it won't find you. You have to find IT.

I feel you ez. I am having the same issues as you right now. The only thing that will help us is: crashing and burning A L O T. Love the fact that people reject you, try it. I will try it too

Look into exposure therapy. It helped me with my AA.

There was never one single moment when I felt "I can approach now". It's a thousand little steps not one big one.

Approached today and got a good response. Plus she let me eat the last of her cream sandwich. Before this was a lot of little approaches and hellos and hugs and dates.

Small steps bro! If you were comfortable with socializing before and now you feel you can't because of depression - you will have to work through depression first. Sounds tough, but that's the reality of it.

Small steps through everything, you can do it. Don't be so hard on yourself - if you hate yourself for every thing you didn't do or did wrong, you might actually be the one causing the depression. Congratulate yourself on things you do right (learn to recognize those, as its super easy to miss them), get lots (and that means LOTS) of proper rest, naps, don't skip meals, treat yourself with respect and know that you must. If you don't respect yourself, no one else will.
