What do you expect to get to know out of this question? I honestly doubt you are able to pull off a make out that easily if you have to ask such a question.

It is a dancefloor. Just dance, enjoy yourself - sure you can try to engage interactions while dancing. But thinking you can pull off a makeout that easily is a bit too ambitious. I can only recommend you to not try to talk too much on the dancefloor. If you want to talk lead her somewhere else.

First thing is to be there to enjoy the venue. I know we all want to get laid or hook up or whatever, but look.... if you're there with a hunting attitude, it might actually make you seem thirsty and desperate.

Whereas if you're legitimately enjoying dancing and having fun, you'll attract more attention because you're providing fun inatead of trying to extract fun from people around you.

I usually try make eye contact, then dance enthusiastically, hold my hand out and hope she holds it. Get closer and then lean in. Is this okay?

Don't hold your hand out and "hope she holds it." Holding your hand out, unless you already know what you're doing, is a borderline creepy and awkward thing to do.

Dancing escalation involves being able to dance and being able to dance close to someone. Frontally. Not humping their ass.
