Often when I'm out on dates everything will be going well and inevitably the girl will ask "So what are your hobbies?" or "What do you do for fun?"

The problem is I study dentistry, so I don't get a whole lot of times for other hobbies. I sometimes play video games and I watch TV a lot while I'm bed or studying. But tbh I spend the vast, vast majority of my time studying and improving my surgical skills.

Mostly when I say I study most of the time and practice dexterity etc girls don't mind. Some find it interesting, but I can tell many don't find it very appealing. What can I do? Should I change the way I word my response? Or is there easy hobbies that don't take a lot of input but are interesting?

Once I get past this kind of question I normally don't have a problem driving the conversation onwards, but I feel like this shouldn't really be an issue in the first place.
