This story is going to bring us back all the way to 2014 when I was first dipping my toes into the seduction. I had met a few girls, made a lot of mistakes, and even managed some success sporadically. Right around the time Tinder hit its stride I matched with an absolutely gorgeous girl to my astonishment, and stranger still I managed to get a couple dates out of her. Turns out we had great chemistry and things were electric. I was riding the greatest wave of my life, but it all crashed down when I got suddenly sick the night before a hugely anticipated date. Bad enough that I spent the next two days in the hospital and following week barely moving from my bed. I committed the ultimate cardinal sin and got too needy. I tried setting up a new date before I could even keep fluids down and generally pestered this poor girl until she eventually got fed up and stopped texting back. I looked up from the hole I had dug myself into and asked for the dynamite. In a vain attempt to get her interested again I used some half baked advice and came up with one of the cringiest texts I have ever or will ever send. There was no coming back, she ghosted me, and for good reason. I know exactly how I fucked up.

Fast forward to today, and I get a notification from the good old Tinder workhorse. It's the same girl, who I hadn't thought about for at least a couple months during a bout of remembering all the dumbest things I ever said. If were to message her, I wouldn't even know how to broach the subject, assuming she even remembers back that far and doesn't just immediately unmatch me if she does.

At this point I realize I have no chance, that ship hilariously burst into flames long ago but it's fun to think about the slim possibility of success and I'd like to hear what you all would say.
