There are a couple parts to this. First, how sure are you that she's actually into guys still?

Second, I wouldn't worry about the age difference. 22/18 isn't crazy, and girls typically like older guys.

If she just broke up with someone, though, she may not be looking for anything else.

The cuddling thing is good, but do you have any other evidence to suggest she might be into you in that way?

Lastly, there's not really any way around it. If you have romantic intentions, be clear that if you act on them there's a good chance it'll end the friendship no matter what happens. Don't let that stop you if you still want to, but be aware.

Asking her out should be pretty easy because you already know each other. You could say something along the lines of "I've really been enjoying hanging out with you, we should ..." or something.

Oh my god, bro...You're in the friendzone. If a girl start telling you about her insecurities and problems with guys and you're listening and giving advice like her therapist, you're downhill from there. She now just thinks you're her gay therapist friend. Here's what you do:

1- Give her some space, stop hitting her up and talking to her for a while. Don't be too available. 2- Talk to other girls and be seen with them. 3- Do cool stuff and post them on social media. 4- After a while when she starts getting curious, start flirting with her a bit and make your intentions clear, then ask her out by saying "I'm going to be doing X..., join me!"
