Your wording implies you're in college as opposed to high school.

Nobody in college really gives a fuck what table you're at or who you sit with.

Do what you find to be relaxing and productive. Are you or are you not the captain of your own ship?

Stop giving a fuck and be happy, realize few people are looking at you and none particularly care that you're alone.

Look around for someone else sitting alone. What do you think about them? Not much. Same applies to you.

As normal and appropriate as this all is -- eating and doing shit solo -- other people, especially females see it differently. Women revolve around social interactions and social reputations, this is their entire lives. On a day-to-day basis, they gotta learn to recognize cues and "stereotype" guys based on certain signals to know what he's about and what his status is.

The most common cue is confidence. If she sees the dude displaying a lot of confidence, it tells her that he's probably got a successful life, plenty of friends, hoes, and all that shit.

Now, you'll notice that hot girls are almost NEVER alone. They just can't have fun or go through life solo. They'll have one girl tag along (probably wearing close to the same outfit as each other) and do all their things together. She's learned that successful alpha-player-bros are always surrounded by cool people and doing cool shit.

Basically, what I'm saying is that -- logic and reality don't really mean anything to women. You coulda just left a party you were hosting at your place, just to take a break at the dining hall eating solo, she'll see you and judge you. If she sees you several times being alone, she'll categorize you as being a "loser". That's just the way it is.

I'm confident that you won't shoot yourself in the foot with this sort of knowledge. The worst thing you can do is be a try-hard and try to appear cool and popular. This'll cause you to stress out and get nervous whenever you're alone, just from that fear of being judged by onlookers.

No one else sees anything wrong with chilling at the corner table alone while everyone else dines in a clusterfuck right?

People are insecure as fuck, can't do shit on their own. If I see a cute woman eating on her own, I'll regard her in a better light. She's going against the grain and being her own self. Coolio
