So I had started reading The subtle art of not giving a fuck by Mark Manson, and I think all the content in it is great, always summarising why the things you are giving a fuck about right now might not be as important as you think, or you should be giving a fuck about other things. But the last chapter really brought me to reality, like I've never been before. Never have I ever felt so grounded. The reality was that I'm going to die.

I have always known it, just like everybody else, and I have always said that, retorted at a psychic night at my local for my belief that psychics can only predict that fact. Never really resonated with the idea, until Manson described his moments contemplating it. It made me realise that all of this, me typing right now, the beliefs I hold, the fucks I give are pointless. I can't take them with me when I am gone and no one else can. but it made me think about what I actually do have, and what I really do value in life and none of it is about sex, women, money or material gain. I could list off what I'm grateful for but Imma write down this shit for later

What I am trying to say is some of you guys are all too worried about what people think or how embarrassed you may feel to approaching a girl and saying "hello", don’t get me wrong, I'm the same, it can be a challenge and it feels way more complex than you know it is. But the truth is, they don't care what you think, Gemma is more occupied with whether or not she is gonna have chocolate sprinkles on her cinnamon latte. The moment you stop caring about the things that don’t matter is when you start to do things that you never thought you could, In essence, you let yourself (your ego) die.
