So I typically post asking for advice. Even though I occasionally open, I never post about it. This weekend I went out with some friends, and drank (which I am trying to quit, but anyway).

Venue 1: we arrived in an Uber, and I went across the street to buy smokes as my friends went in. Walking in alone may have set me up pretty well.

Friends were standing alone, the bar is spacious but was pretty full. She there were two girls and a guy next to my group. I opened the better looking of the two (appeared to be the solo girl). She had on a very unique shirt, which we had some good convo about. Flirted a bit. Put my arm around the small of her back. She liked that for sure. In comes sister (the other girl, was with a guy). Sister tried to CB, I just didn't allow it. I didn't acknowledge her trying to get me to leave, and cracked little jokes about it with my target. They changed venues. I was invited by target, but did not go. Should have number closed but didn't.

Also at this venue, I had a brief convo with two really cute 21 year olds while smoking. Nothing great, but solid for me to have opened them as they were super cute. Bitch shield went up immediately. Not sure what I did or said to get through it, but we had a decent 5 minute convo over the smoke, did not see them again.

Venue 2: cute brunette sitting at the bar. I did realize somewhat later her teeth were kind of discolored, at this point I didn't care though because I had enough to drink. I walk up and order myself a beer and shots for my friends. Open target. Go to the bathroom. Two set sitting alone at a table I spot on the way to the bathroom. I stop, put my hands on the table and tell them I will be back. They smile and giggle and reply "ok." So back to the bar, worked on this one for a while. Rapport was good, but I was probably getting a little drunk. After 30 minutes of convo this girl tells me she is Mormon, and points out her husband, and the girls next to her are apparently the other wives. This may have been an invitation to join them for the rest of the evening, but it creeped me out. After she dropped the bomb it felt like the whole bar was staring at me, like I said I was getting drunk.

Went back to the two set, settled on the lesser of the two. Tried to make out a few times. Was never successful although she did applaud my efforts lol. Chatted for a bit with those two.

That's it. Decent night for me. I need to be able to do this without booze though, which I am working on. Not sure if this will help anyone or not.
