Stop reading advices. I'm already so anxious I don't need anything more to think about so I try to avoid endless seeking of information.

Start going to a mall or other busy area for 30 minutes a day. Walk around and just ask people for the time. Then start complimenting girls on things you genuinely like about them. Don't worry about doing more than that, just get used to opening, talking to strangers, and complimenting girls.

I have a different idea than "just approach". Start slow with eye contact. When you commute, wall around town, make eye contact with people. Let them look away. Get used to that, and then, when you make eye contact, say "good morning/day/evening" etc. Until you get used to that too. Then, ramp it up by actually choosing girls you find attractive and do this to them, followed up by a little smalltalk. Talk about the weather, it's fine, then excuse yourself and walk away. You do this until it has become second nature to you to talk to strangers, then approaching got women will be easy as shit.
