I can tell you this: when you're heading to the place you're gonna make it (please, get a hotel room, since you guys can take your time without worrying your parents or anyone showing up unexpectedly) behave normally (easier sad than done, I now). Even playful. The idea is to just relax. When you guys are alone at last, don't rush at her. Make a conversation. Get comfortable on bed. Then just kiss her and...the fun begins. Again, don't rush. Take your time to please her, and most likely she'll return the favor, if you now what I mean. Again, the point here is to relax and enjoy yourselves :) Regarding the scars, don't mind them. Just keep your thing going without worrying about it :3 Even if she notices, she won't pay any special attention to them, since you did a very good job with her, right, ;)

I knew a guy who self-harmed actively. He always wore long sleeves to hide his slash marks. It never caused him trouble with girls, even if it should have.

Girl here. If you're self conscious, try wearing boxer briefs to help cover them up, and do it with the lights off. Honestly though, she probably won't really care! If she asks about them, just chuckle and say you were young and dumb. The serious convo about what they're really from can happen at another time, it'll ruin the mood you're going for. Wear your scars with confidence! They're a part of your past that you've learned from and moved on. If you convincingly act like they're not a big deal, she will most likely take on the same attitude. Realize that she's going to be worried about her own insecurities to the point that she won't notice yours. There are so many many way worse things to be self conscious about, be glad you don't have them. HAVE FUUUUUUN!!!!

I myself have a horribly disfigured chest (accident though- not self harm). If you are self conscious about it- just keep the lights off and don't draw attention to them. As other's here have said, you're the one who is self conscious about them and she won't notice, even if she does- she won't care.

Scars are much better than tattoos, they tell a story, whereas any idiot can get a tattoo. She will want to hear your story, tell it to her. I dated a chick that self-harmed, cut up her shoulders. I didn't even mention it, she gave me her story, I told her it was fine I wasn't going to judge her.
