Personally, I just like to get to know the girl on the first date.

Call me old fashioned. Hell, you can even call me a pussy.

But on the first date, I don't even make any moves. I just crack jokes, self-amuse, ask good questions, and have fun.

That's it.

Ironically, this lack of escalation always leads to a second and third date.

Your call. But don't be surprised when a girl doesn't go on the second date because you went in way too hard the first time.

Believe it or not, it's highly unlikely that you'll have sex on the first date. Essentially, you have to run into the right girl with the right intentions. There's not really a trick for making it happen. You can however do some things to find out if this is the case, and you don't exactly have to ruin the chance of a second date in the process. First off, kino. If you're not kissing, obviously you're not getting laid tonight. If you're not making out, rubbing each other, biting each other's lips and neck, then you're probably not getting laid. If you do manage to make it to thy point, a confident, "Want to continue at my place," will suffice. If she wants to, she will. If not, she'll say no thanks it's getting late I should go soon. Handle that with grace. Say yeah me too, I had fun though, have a goodnight. Kiss some more and then leave. Then set up a second date and try again. It you're in a club or party environment, or I guess anytime, you can play indirect and offer a drink at your place. This is a little more subtle and may make her feel more comfortable saying yes because she doesn't have to admit or acknowledge that she's horny just yet. Once at your place, kino until sex or she says no thanks.
