PUAs, what is the firmest smackdown/rejection you've had a target administer to you in the field?

I'm not really a PUA but the worst rejections for me are the ones where the lady is completely indifferent or explicitly ignores me. I made an approach yesterday at a club and I said hey what's up and she looked at me dead in the eye and did a complete 180 with her head. That's always a gut punch. On the bright side that's as bad as it gets for me.

The worst for me were funny enough from throwaway warmup approaches on girls I wasn't attracted too. Got an "ewww!" from a plain jane in front of others. Hot girls typically just deflect it.

I had one today where I started a conversation in a store and after making a comment she just put what she was looking at back and walked away.

It was a girl at a concert, we were at a small venue that you wouldn't find on a map and she was performing on stage with only an acoustic guitar and the voice of a goddess. The songs she had written were so filled with emotion that they brought a tear to my eye, and although this took place years ago, I can still remember her intonations as she sung: "I miss you, more than you could know".

Anyway, I determined that I was going to make her acquaintance when the set ended. So I did. I went up to her, introduced myself, and told her that she had the most beautiful voice I had ever heard in my life, which was true. We talked about music and everything else for an hour or so. She told me she thought about learning the drums and I told her that she was way too talented, no. Your pitch is too perfect. So not long after she and her friend had to leave. But I wasn't going to give up, I wanted her number and I wanted her alone. So I ran into her outside and asked if she gave guitar lessons, and that I would pay her well. She gave me her friend's card and I said, "I don't want to learn from your friend, I want to learn from you.". But she insisted, and her friend came back, and I left. I wish I could have persisted just a little bit longer. I was younger then, socially awkward and anxious.

And as I walked away, I heard her tell her friend "Wow, that guy was so creepy!"

And I pretended not to hear. But it felt like an angel had condemned me to hell.

Really not that bad, but one of the things I can remember...
