Only hung out with this girl in group settings and there was clear attraction between us so I take her out on a date. I go for a kiss during the date and she rejects it so I back off and we continue to have a great time until the date ends and we part ways. She wants to build trust with me before we move further and I think that may take awhile especially because I may want to make this girl my gf in the future.

Not sure what to do now. She's opened up to me about some real personal topics and I've shared a couple things about myself. I've kino'd to the point of having my hand on her leg, occasionally leading her by her lower back, and playing with her hand and moving her around and such.

Maybe just be patient and continue kino to avoid friend-zone? Also I'm not sure how long it will take till she is ready to move forward. We are bound to hang out in a group setting sooner or later and I don't want to come off as needy or another dickbot so I feel like I must play this long game.
