That may have been confusing too, I meant when I go out to bars its usually with a bunch of single guys (sometimes female) and a majority of single guys are just trying to get girls when they go out. That being said, the groups of friends that I hang out with are pretty co-ed so its not like I have zero exposure to women or something. I'll check out hash running though, thanks for the rec!

Hey man, appreciate the detailed post. I’ll give a brief background since I gave no context and it may seem I’m completely new to being social - I actually have a pretty carefree social background (and man this formatting is really killing me) I talk to strangers all the time all people all types, slight approach anxiety if I’m actually interested but nothing I can’t overcome I have a pretty decent social circle, I do a lot of different things i.e. snowboarding, rock climbing, hanging out with f…

Your comment is the only one to bring down the hammer but its all good. I thought about what you’re saying, for me its not so much avoiding the feeling of getting rejected but more so that I actually learn from the rejections. I’m not sure that I’m approaching this in the right way that is conducive to me learning which is why I’m thinking of taking a step back to take a break. That being said, it may be true that my personality type may not be the best mesh with pickup and there are other ways …

I think what you said is good. Attracting better people into your life in general. I think that might be parallel to what I’m saying by taking a step back and taking a break. I think me taking a break means I take a separate outlook and just socialize with everybody more without women being a specific focused case.

What you're describing is one way of how someone acts with abundance mentality. (Also you shouldn't try to figure out whether what you do is beneficial or not to being with her, just do what you would normally do). Abundance mentality in general transcends women. You know what your stance is on life and can be independently happy as an individual without letting others affect your stance. In the case you're talking about, this means sure you like the girl but whether or not it works out is not g…

I'm glad you found someone you liked but - First of all, sure you like this girl but just remember there's other girls out there. Abundance Mentality. This is THE most important point. You will lose the girl if you fuck up and start focusing 100% on her. The fact that you're posting about this means you are definitely pretty into her. Make sure you have hobbies and other stuff you hold as priority otherwise thats how you become needy. In terms of what to do. I would back off the deep personal to…

Im no expert at this but to start off, just draw on your inner game strength and have the mentality to enjoy yourself and have a good time. But onto specifics. Who cares if the club is empty, its all in our heads. For clubs I would say cut down the chit chat and just go for the dance. It's too fucking loud to really have a conversation. Feel the music, get on the dance floor, let loose a little. See a girl you like? Just go up to her (make sure she sees you coming), smile, and extend your hand o…

I'm thinking the solution might be to just be straight up and honest with your intentions (which is a true relationship in this case). Maybe say something that is more 'serious' and less playful, like wanting to get to know them more. However, I see that the potential downside is that you kind of play all your cards when you do that. And if thats not the only reason keeping her from being totally invested in you then you have come off as needy and completely showed that you are more invested tha…

Thanks for the detailed comments man. I am curious though as to why you mentioned it was 'a pretty miserable way to live'. What makes you feel that way and is that how you feel looking back at it all now? Here's the thing though, I do have multiple goals by going out solo, not necessarily just for sex. I'm generally trying to put myself out of my comfort zone and improve my inner game and inner self. Working on talking to girls and people in general and being comfortable being alone and not rely…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
