I'm not sure if writing this out is just going to make things worse but I can't seem to move forward very well.

Long story short, It's been two weeks since I lost this 'perfect' girl that I escalated/k-closed/f-closed. Of course she's not perfect but my stupid ass brain can't get around that. Things got serious and I really liked her which is where I probably fucked up and got way to invested. She ended up breaking things off after a month and I let it go because it is what it is and started cutting her out of my life.

I'm a believer of the usual seddit principles/inner game/Mark Manson. I've had multiple girlfriends before but this one seems to hit really fucking hard for some reason. Almost everything I do causes my mind to make some small connection back to thinking about her. I'm trying to keep myself busy but just the thought of what could've been or what I should've done keep popping up. Silly thoughts like wishful thinking that she would message me find themselves in my head. I find myself thinking about the physical and emotional experiences we had together way too much. Tried some meditation but the thought/overthinking just keep coming.

I know its normal to feel slightly down after rejection but why is this one in particular hitting so hard?
