Went on a date with this girl last night. Went it with a good state and pretty strong. It went pretty well, we had a good conversation and went out to the bars, did some kino/escalation and got some intoxication going. When I dropped her off at the end of the night, I went in for the kiss goodbye and we end up making out for a couple of minutes.

Now here is the strange part. So I enjoyed hanging out with this girl and she definitely feels like relationship status. She texts me the day after saying thanks and had a good time and enjoyed the kissing. We go back and forth a bit in text, although she responds slowly. So I ask her to get dinner with me again two days after, she says maybe and will let me know because she might need to hangout with a friend.

She never lets me know. So I end up sending her a text the day of the planned dinner asking if shes figured out her plans for that day. She responds with something that makes it sound like she completely forgot about it. So I tell her I was just checking in because she was supposed to let me know. To this she apologizes and says we should get food another time but doesn't try to schedule a time.

WTF happened here? Initially I had thought there was extreme IoI, which somehow vaporized. Also, unfortunately I let myself get a little to invested in it all because I thought it was going well. So I am definitely feeling a little defeated and shitty right now because I had felt confident in my abilities but all of a sudden it seemed to come crashing down on me. I learned that my inner game needs to step up a little and its too easily impacted by an outcome.
