Hell yeah. I'm 5'8" and used to be 130lbs. Worked my way up to 145lbs, bought fitted clothes and now I get more attention than ever. It's crazy. Also, roll up your sleeves. Women love forearms for some reason.

I'm around 170lbs at 5'8. Yes I have a little more fat than I'd like but unless I'm bloated, you can't tell I have any fat.

Short answer: Yes.

Long answer: Yes, but do it for you. I could've stopped at 150, or 160lbs but I kept going because I loved it and wasn't happy where I was. Get to a weight that makes you happy and confident. That's the key here. Confidence is sexier than a 5'8 man weighing 125lbs.

Edit: there isn't a specific weight to hit.

I think the better question would be: "Would it help you feel more confident?". If you feel it would, by all means, go ahead. Keep in mind that it's not required, however.

If you feel like you'd feel better that way, there's no reason why you should not pursue that endeavor. However, while it may draw eyes towards you, it won't be the miracle solution to secure anything. Just keep that in mind.

Do it for you, not for them.
