i used to have a similar situation as yourself. My friends didn't want to go out and meet girls, they just wanted to stay in and socialize. What really helped me was making new friends. Nobody wants to go out to a party or a bar by themselves, and having connections is a valuable resource. You don't have to ditch your current friends, but i would definitely encourage you to meet new people. maybe people you work with, maybe friends of a friend, or people you just always see around town. Knowing people is a big part of how i've gotten to meet more women.

Toronto is a decent sized city. Find some place you can volunteer on the weekend. It will get you outside of your normal circles, it will help your inner-game since you're being altruistic, and at the very least you'll help a fellow human being... you might even like it.

You can always go back to your university and go to the parties, not sure if they have fraternities in Canada but I'm sure there's something of the sort. You could even go to other universities. Just something to think about, it's not like they ID you.
