Because people aren’t interested in what happens behind closed doors. Society is never going to know the real numbers on female domestic violence and emotional abuse against men. Men are baited with marriage and then what happens? Therapists don’t talk. They may be biased. Their clients may never tell the whole story for fear of being falsely reported. Hence, the defense can make up a good excuse.

I was raised in a society that offered virtually full equality to women plus great workplace benefits not available to men. Women responded not by treating men better at home but by becoming even more promiscuous than ever. How did they treat a husband who didn’t do the dishes (bad example, I know) on the other hand? Like garbage. Complaints from women about men in therapy groups I went to were non-stop. The double standard is atrocious.

Women are worshipped in the US because feminists have political power to engage in systemic man hating.

They do not care, they hate you, and they only care about money and power.

Men suffering by their hand is the sweetness nectar.

But by all means believe their lies when they lie and say they “care” About men because of the “patriarchy” hurting them.
