I am an Indian and day before yesterday I did my first cold approach in my life in a social setting. Although it didn't went well but it was not worse either and now we are friends. However outside of social setting I find it very hard to approach women. I always have this thought that if I approach a stranger womanl she can file a false harrasment case against me or will slap me as Indian laws are very much biased against men. I want inputs from Indians as they can very well understand my situation ( also people from other countries are free to give their opinion). I don't fear rejection, I just fear these two things. Also for your information I am gaming in tier 2 city in India.
