(M/34) going out for the first time on my own in around 7 years. Any advice?

I’m the same age and in a large city and 34 is an amazing age to meet women. Tons of girls ages 25-33 love older guys and tons of girls ages 36-45 love younger guys. That 18-23 age range is tougher as you get older and I try to avoid places that are filled with super young immature people.

Also, so many guys in their twenties nowadays are scared shitless to talk to women and have horrible game and social skills from spending much of their lives online with social media and dating apps. I witness it firsthand each weekend it’s embarrassing. Literally just having the balls to go up to a hot girl and have a normal conversation puts you way ahead of most people.

But your age should be the least of your worries/insecurities

Go out with the intent to do a lot of approaches and have fun. Learn to not take anything seriously. Laugh at it all.

Go and experience everything. Positive interactions, running out of things to say, not knowing how to open, being told your old, etc… just throw yourself into the fire and get reference experiences. Teach your mind that even if the worst thing happens, it’s not a big deal. You can laugh at it.

Get momentum. And when you do, just keep doing approaches.

Learn from every approach and the next day, analyze it. Decide what your sticking points are. Go out again and drill on the areas you want to improve. But when you go out, forget about any game theory or analysis. Just get into the moment and have fun. Get reference experiences.

If you are insecure about anything you can be sure that women will indeed call out that insecurity of yours to see how you react. So if you are worried about your age you can expect them to shit test you like: “You are too old”.

When a woman says this, it’s not really a dealbreaker. They just testing you to see how confident you are about yourself. Whether you become defensive and apologetic because deep down you feel it’s a bad thing, or just laugh about it like you don’t even take that shit seriously for even one second because you are just so sure of how attractive you are no matter what she says.

So you can respond like this:

“I know!! And look how pretty and sexy i look, not to brag💅🏽”
“I know right??!!” (use a super enthusiastic tone as if you are so happy about being old)
“I’m actually 22, but you know… cigarettes, women, alcohol, women, the drugs, women…”
“Old enough to know better, but young enough to do it anyway.”

This is how you pass the shit test, by being absolutely in love with yourself.
