NEVER talk about your EX, hopefully she will never talk about hers. If she still talks about it, she still has feelings for him. Warning sign if that occurs. Look to the future, hopefully she will too.

not necessarily and not always, I say go with the flow of the conversation. If the topic of Ex's come up then discuss it and any funny shit that happened that made them break up, talk about your ex too. Be confident enough to talk to her about that kind of topic, nothing is taboo unless you make it so.
