You CAN talk to girls at the gym, it all depends on the timing, and if she's even interested in you. Don't just go up to a girl when she's resting between a set to talk to her, make sure there's initial attraction. If you both glance at each other MORE THAN TWICE, there's definitely an attraction. If there is, compliment her. A basic yet subtle approach is complimenting her shoes, or shirt. Don't compliment her leggings for obvious reasons. Hope this helps brother

Dont make her stop lifting to speak to you. Make a harmless comment at her, then continue on your way. If she wants to speak, you'll know by her body language response.

Only time I've met women at the gym has been when we ended up using the same equipment. Don't fake it though (run to a piece of equipment she's using and ask to work in when you didnt intend on using it) that won't be natural and she'll sense it. Just when it lines up go ask can I work in? From there the conversation flows. How long have you been lifting for? Blah blah blah.
