Long story short.

After two dates she told me that those weren’t DATES, but just friends meeting.

I told her that I thought, that I was taking it as dates! So I stopped talk to her and she initiated the contact with me. We talked a little bit, then she visited Venice with her female friend. During her trip we little bit chatted and then I again initiated the meeting with her. I said that “I don’t like to chat on FB, I prefer a personal meeting. Lets tell me about your Venice trip”. So I asked her what was her plan on Monday, she said “I don’t know”. On Tuesday SHE suggested meeting in a sushi bar. Funny part is, that on my FB, I have a sentence “If you invite me for a sushi, I could do everything that your last boyfriend was not able to do”. So she reserved the restaurant etc. That day I tried to escalate, but she was just neutral, I hugged her, she didn’t push me away, but no positive feedback from her side. Yesterday my phone (data) was turn off for an entire day. When I woke up today, I could see, she just changed the color of our FB messages in the evening. No message back from me. In the afternoon today she wrote me message again!

She had 8 years relationship, now 6 months single, no friends at all, very shy person.

What is your opinion on that? Not sure what I should do now. Should I talk to her and try to escalate more or you think It is already friendzoned after 3 dates with no kiss, no holding hands, no physicality at all? Should I escalate more quickly if just neutral responses? Thanks guys.
