Advice Needed (Be Brutally Honest) - I'm a 30 yo male with Erectile Dysfunction, depression, a failed Business, no direction in life, lonely and have weak support from family and friends despite being an overall nice guy. All I have going for me is my job. What must I do to change my life?

Start with one thing at a time.

Obviously even the most motivated guy would have trouble in your situation if he looked at all the different problems in his life. So make it as simple as possible.

Out of your problems which one, if solved, will make everything slightly easier?

I think for you perhaps what you really need is support for your depression and loneliness. Once those things are fixed, you'll have more motivation to take care of other aspects of your life.

What action can you take to get support? I think searching in your area for therapists could be a good first action. I recommend a gestalt therapist. So head on over to google and type in "(your area) gestalt therapists"

Then like that, you take one action at a time to fix your problems. You don't have to wait till you're not depressed or lonely, to find a purpose or friends, you could do two things at the same time, but I would start with one and then go from there.

Do Nofap for a couple of weeks and see how that affects your ED and depression.

As per the other comment, tackle one thing at a time, and I recommend you hit the gym and eating right. It will definitely help with the depression (I was already underweight and I lost about 5 kgs when I went through my depression), and will probably help with the ED (both of which could stem from low testosterone).

Go to the doctor! ED often is more of a symptom of serious issues such as heart/circulatory. 30 is young, you may have some hidden medical problems that could become serious.

The biggest change you need to make is the relationship you have with yourself. You are worthy of the good things in life, even though things aren't going according to plan atm. I don't believe all you have going for you is your job. You say you're a nice guy? Well that's great. What else DO you have going for you right now? Look at that and build from there, if you rediscover where your strenghts lie, you'll know what way to go.

Also, don't be afraid to reach out for support from your friends and family, that's what they're there for. I'm sure they'd wanna help (Because why else would you call them friends right?) but they need to know what you're struggeling with before they can.

Start by exercising and eating right. Go see a dietician and find a weightlifting program on the internet (i recommend kris gethins 12 week muscle builder). Find a hobby you enjoy that lets you interact with others. Think of what you want to accomplish in your lifetime careerwise and start taking steps to achieve those things.

I wish you good luck on your way. I'm in a similar position like your own, only 5 years older, bald and stuck in a mininum-wage job. Whatever advice or insights you'll receive can help more people that lead lives just like ours. I think NoFap is a good start, but it's damn hard.

Start doing nofap and never stop, easy, that should help with ED and motivation, and stop eating junk food, start a physical activity so you get in shape and cold showers.
