Novice Advice | seduction

So I have always been into pickup, but have been with a girl for 4 years. I'm 20 now, go to a good tech school for CS. me and the girl broke up 5 months ago, and i'm trying to get into day gaming. I'm currently getting into shape, and work a lot. I'm pretty confident in myself, I carry an alpha/dominant aura. I find day gaming better than the bar scene because the dominance hierarchy is so complex in a bar. Shits mad effort imo but idk.

One thing I struggle with is the first couple sentences. Once I am talking with someone I have no problem flowing the conversation. I don't know how to break the ice. How to approach. It's the same thing i'm sure many people struggle with. I know the specifics of what you first say doesn't really matter. The most important is choosing an opening topic which has multiple paths to traverse instead of asking consecutive questions. Yet I still struggle.

Give a noob some advice. I'm walking in the park, a hot girl is walking towards me alone. No earbuds in. What do i do.

Good that you had many great approaches. The thing is, timing is of the essence. When I'm going about my life running errands, doing mundane daily things and someone asks me to take my earbuds out to tell me something... He could be Tom Hardy but I still wouldn't be thrilled about it.

If that same man we're to talk to me in another setting later that day at say, a café or something I'd probably be in a more flirtatious mood and more open to it . I just don't like the idea that a man finds himself so interesting that he's willing to to gamble my possible discomfort against his odds that there's a shot of success.

The only way a man could succesfully approach me in this manner is if I spotted him already, saw him coming towards me, I am already smiling at him and have already pulled an earbud out as the universal sign for: "Hey, you can talk to me now if you'd like"

Fair enough ... that's your experience. I stand by my opinion it's better overall to approach girls with earphones than not. Why waste opportunities on a few that may find discomfort, when a larger portion of women may be pleased or wanting guys to approach them? Why decide for the girl before she can decide what her boundaries are? She's a grown woman she can tell me if approaching her is a bad time or something she desires. I think it would be disrespectful for me to decide if a girl wants to be approached or not, before finding out from her.

In your case you are specifying that you would find being approached by even Tom Hardy a nuisance if you were busy with other things, so obviously I won't approach you if you have earphones in if I knew who you were. But a lot of other girls may want a guy to approach them and may have earphones in to cure boredom, they may not be busy at all, perhaps just strolling along or waiting for a bus.

So I think it's better for a guy to try first and then respect the girls decision, at least then he won't be full of regret for not trying, rather than decide for her and be full of regret not knowing if he could have approached her and had a pleasant interaction or not.
