Background: Married, wife is SHM. I've been lurking TRP for a few months. Started putting things into practice a few weeks ago. The sex results have been fantastic. I'm taking back control of the finances and things are greatly improved overall though far from perfect.

One of my chief complaints has been her complete lack of housekeeping. Today I returned from work to find she had vacuumed the house, cleaned the kitchen, and the front hallway.

This is pretty good for her. But I'm sure its a token gesture and not any kind of real change. So, do I reward this one, as it is good behavior, or not acknowledge it because its what she should have been doing all along? There is of course also the middle ground where I can say the house looks good and thank her for cleaning but in a very matter of fact way to acknowledge but also say I'm not impressed with what should be the norm. I'd appreciate all your opinions. Thanks.
