Your door isn't closed yet but she's ready to slam it shut forever. Running away now w/o a word is petulance. Basically taking your ball and going home. Her quote there shows she's smart and able to curate her feelings but I'm not seeing a fuck off there but she is pissed.
Time to take a page from Mr Darcey. There is nothing to be lost at this point by showing a hint of masculine vulnerability in a stoic manner here. Tell her you accept that you caught feelings and panicked, acknowledge your mistake in acting like you did and chalk it up to how she affected you. The thought of losing her broke through your reserve and caused you to behave badly. You understand her reaction and you appreciate her measured response and her having spent time with you. You regret your outburst. She is welcome to contact you if she wishes but you understand if she does not. Then leave it at that, independent of the outcome. Then move on and let her contact you or not as she sees fit. Either way the ball is in her court.

Agreed. You're asking how you can fly a plane after it's already smashed into the mountain. She straight up femsplained at you in that last text, after calling you insecure. Say absolutely zilch. You never know; she may have a warm thought of you some night and reach out.

I would call her and say: "Hi insert name, I would like to apologize for how I made you feel last night, and I cant believe i said it". This will be manly as fuck, and tbh, its the maximum you can do. If this was to workout anyway, she will understand and probably forgive this occurrence. But yes, you did mess up her shit test big time.

So now I'm torn. Initially I was going to go without contact and let her contact me. It's been a couple days and not a peep. Some of you are saying leave it alone, a couple others are saying go for the apology.
I'm inclined to do the latter though, and I appreciate all your advice.
Well, I've jumped the gun, and called her. She answered. I followed Mr. Ducharbaine's advice. I apologized for acting like an asshole and she thanked me for my honesty.
I asked for a "reset" and I didn't get a clear or definitive answer, there was a lot of traffic noise in the background, and it was at that point that she told me how much of a hurry she was to get to work (which is true, I'm familiar with her schedule) and that we could "talk about it another time". I told her to give me a call whenever.
I might also add this fun fact: She's 33, and I'm 31. Her career is also more successful than mine. These are a couple things that help drive my "insecurity" with her.
So I guess we'll see what plays out, and I'll definitely keep you guys updated.
