In real life dude. I would say succes rate is at least 10-20 times better irl

On tinder and other apps you only have photos, it's very hard to judge someone's attractiveness based on pics only, as you are in three dimensions in real life, may turn your head so we see you at a different angle and do different facial expresssions.

Your face and body may also look different on photos, you may notice that often people are more beautiful in real life than on photos (unless they did a wonderful picture with a lot of effort)

Also a lot of seduction is not about communicating by speaking or texting, it's also the way you communicate, IRL you have some sort of presence that you don't have online, body language, tone of your voice, laughing and more

Swap 100 girls on tinder, you may get 10-20 matches, half of them don't answer, some others are bots fakes, and the ones that answer do no effort to keep the conversation, you lose a lot of time speaking with them and at the end you don't meet her for x or y reasons, and it's fucking boring to speak with them.

Approach 100 girls IRL randomly in the street, you may get 10-20 numbers, a few dates, interesting interactions

And notice that the street is the worst case IRL, if you don't go in the street but in an other place, like a place where you practice some sports, a park, the beach, college campus or whatever place where girls come to have fun or chill, you may have much better success than in the street, as you have more weapons for your approach thanks to context and girls being more opened in those places

On tinder you are one pretender between hundreds of others. IRL guys don't have the balls, even if they are more attractive than you or whatever, if they don't approach they are not disponible for the girl, but you, if you approach the HB8, you are here and now in front of her and gives her other impressions than your sole appearance, unlike apps.

Maybe she flirts with a few other guys and speaks with other friendzoned dudes, but you have much less competition and it's more pleasurable for you and for her, you stand out of the crowd, she may feel like she may lose something if she doesn't get the opportunity to get to know you, where on tinder she can keep you here forever on her match list thinking you will ever be available

I've wondered about this too as an Asian male, what would be the more efficient route. I think it really depends on where your skills lie and unfortunately your skin color and the stereotypes that surround it.

From what I've seen and experienced, some people are really good at socializing with women there and there, face to face yet when it comes down to texting they have no non-verbals to back what they write on text thus frequently coming off the wrong way. Other people are masterful at creating the right image on social media yet if they are to talk person to person they are not that interesting. That affects the chance of success for each.

Going back to darker realities though, there's biases against non-white races for their respective stereotypes. If you're an Asian male, you will have no chance if you're introverted and nerdy even if that's a plus for a black dude in the online dating world because of the need to cancel out negative stereotypes as well as the concept of supply and demand. Location also matters depending on the type of person you are. For example, if you're a techie in San Francisco, your value has plummeted due to a high supply of them in that city and this effect is amplified online since you really don't have your personality to distinguish yourself. High quality women don't tend to date online since they frequently get hitched up for relationships as soon as they come out of one, so depending on your definition of success (fewer, high quality women or many lower quality women), one is better than the other.
