As a general rule you shouldn't tell a girl that you have strong feelings for her unless you're dating. "I like you" would be acceptable, but IMO "I like you a lot" is too much. Ask her on a date if you can manage, or fall back to "I like you".

Don't say "we don't have to date". Of course she doesn't have to date you, but you want her to. Be safe, but not too safe. If you say that you like her, let her wonder if that means you want to date. She'll probably let you know how she feels by saying "I like you too" (good, ask her out) or "you're a good friend" (you're fucked). If she doesn't answer properly, ask her out.

You're in highschool, so you have a bit of leeway here even if you say something weird. If you're going somewhere tomorrow why don't you try to kiss her? Nothing too crazy, but it seems like a better option than telling you like her. After you say that, then what? She agrees and y'all go about your day?

I'd say go for it. I see nothing wrong with what you plan on telling her. Get it off your chest. At least you're being cool bout this. But prepare yourself for whatever the outcome may be.

I'd say you should tell her how you feel, but never in the words like "I have feeling for you", "I think I'm in love with you", "I like you"...nah, try to be more specific, explain the words, like "I feel very comfortable around you, I keep thinking about your smile, the way you talk to me make me laugh sometime, I'm suck a lucky guy to have you by my side..."

tl,dr: Tell her how she makes you feel, not how you feel about her, and be thankful as a settler, not a reacher.

or haha I like you ;)

But don't become serious about it, be lighthearted and a bit teasing about it.

Bro, you don't need to tell her you have feelings.

From your body language she knows, she knew even before you started thinking about telling her.

You want to show her you have feelings, you kiss her.

Inform her you're going on a date together (be in charge, show confidence), build comfort and connection (you need to be in late C1 or C2) and go for your kiss with "Would you like to kiss me ?"

Either she says yes and you kiss her, or she says "I don't know" and you reply "Let's find out" and kiss, or she says no outright and you bounce back with "I never said you could, you just looked like you had something on your mind", then build more comfort and connection.

As a side note, actually telling you have feelings is a sure fire way to lose her.

You're going to remove all the tension and kill all the attraction, just like when you play string with a cat it's only interested as long as the string is hard to reach.

You'll be surrendering all the power in the nascent relationship and you WILL get LJBF'd 100%.
