I know the title sounds all little kid try hard misunderstanding what the red pill is about, but hear me out.

I'm turning 18 in a month and after the numerous times my father has pointed this out to me it has finally struck a cord. I do not act like a 17 year old. I act like I'm still 13. What do I mean by this?

I'm told by all of my coaches and teachers that people see me as a leader, but I don't like to lead. Mainly because if something goes wrong it's my fault. I like being a follower unless it's something I'm greatly confident about (video games)

I talk with a raising voice intonation (in English). In my African dialect I don't raise my intonation.

I'm the person most "jokes" are about despite being 6' 1" due to the fact that I don't retaliate when the joke is made. Mainly because I don't want to escalate things or come off as insecure (most jokes are like "you're only stronger/faster than me because your black", "I can't drink that water. Might catch your Ebola", and sometimes I'm called Ebola (a joke my teacher started)

Personally the jokes don't offend me, they should, but I'm like what ever. It doesn't fazee me. But because of this I think others are seeing me as a bitch. Normally when you see a 6' 1" black person you'd think of him as anything but a bitch. You might fear him, but me, nah. I'm too friendly. No one fears me and few respect me out of "love".

There's a quote by Machiavelli that states it's better to be "Feared than loved". Fear you can control, love you cannot. I was raised with the teaching to be nice to everybody and turn the other cheek. Replace hate with love and all that jazz. Look at where it has led me. Getting shitted on left and right.

At first I thought they were laughing with me, but it turns out they were laughing at me.

On the note about respect there's one tennis player, William, Asian, 5' 6" and a junior in high school. He and I were walking in opposite directions and as we passed, our shoulders happened to touch and he yelled (not exactly yelled) "move" to me, the 6' black guy (I'm also in tennis if that matters and the only non asian on the team). Seconds later I watch him walk by a football player who almost runs him over (his head was turned) and William did not say a single word. In fact he sunk his head down a bit and just continued walking. (The other guy was about 5' 9" and black.) Is this lack of respect something I brought upon my self? I know it is, but how can I fix that?

I want to to be the hunter, the person who pursues what they want. Person people respect, person people want to be like, and not the person getting shitted on by everybody that knows him. Even people who don't personally know me get the feeling that I'm a bit of a bitch based on the way I let others treat me.

I have the height and stuff to do it, but I don't know how. Ever since elementary I've been taught to not be the scary black guy most people think of when the hear "nigga". Instead I've become like young Tupac
