It’s not Like they turn to me and over. We’re walking by a bar and one of their girlfriend’s wants a drink, they tell the whole table to get something. Or we’ll be eating dinner and usually with my girl and I go with friends we split the bill (couple by couple). But here, we go to eat at a place and we all order something then when the bill comes, big bro pays for everyone. When I’m eating with my homeboys and one of us covers the other, there’s an unwritten understanding later down the road you…

You’re right. I do see wealth as a sign of accomplishment. I’ll make more money once I graduate and get a full time job. I’m not embarrassed I can’t afford stuff for myself, I know I’m broke. I’m embarrassed that since the older brother has gotten there I’ve had everything paid for by him and my girlfriend’s sister’s SO and I don’t know if I should offer to reciprocate, or if they understand I’m a broke college student. Like the saying “it’s the intention that counts”. Are they expecting me to a…

That’s what the counselor told me. I have minor depression/depressive episodes because everyday isn’t like this. Just 2/3 of my days. But I feel my real problem is a lack of purpose

I’ll spend today finding answers to those questions as I don’t have them. Thanks

I appreciate this answer. There's a lot of shit I'm doing, but if I'm not angry at shortcomings, I must not be investing enough into it

I ain’t got no money in there. I’m helping my brother, mother and best friend and on top of that I have loans of student debt so there’s zilch in there.

A black suit screams "this is my one and only suit and I wear it everywhere because I don't know anything about suits." That is... Exactly correct. I'll try and save up for a grey suit in the near future. Thanks for the heads up

I might get this. I'm liking the low fade more at the moment

Your work ethic with no experience is literally what you are competing on. This helps me understand what employers are looking for. Thank you again for all of your responses

look around see what everybody looks like and when you show up to the interview try to look exactly like you fit in. After you get the job then change your look to whatever you want. This is a smart idea. I'll end up cutting my hair down to get in then once I do grow it out within reasonable levels.
/r/askTRP07/09/18 11:19 PM

It's a great book. I'll reread it this weekend. I'm trying to walk the line of wanting the job badly verses seeming too desperate for the job. My end goal is to have a steady enough income from a "real job" so my parents get off my case and I can support myself to flesh out my photography and shoot weddings and once I'm making enough to fully support myself with that, swap and do that full time. But instead of trying to go all in on the photography from the go, I'm taking it a safer way.

Thank you for your replies. I've got the beard part down then, now to hone in on the hair.

Thank you. Is this the beard you had in mind?
/r/askTRP07/09/18 11:05 PM

Thank you. I'll shave the goatee off as I'm unable to grow a beard for now.
/r/askTRP07/09/18 11:03 PM

That's my goal field, although I'm going for a more "official" field to make sure I can pay my bills incase my photography/video doesn't pay as well as I need it to

https://imgur.com/a/slYBQ6U This is what I'm planning to wear for my interviews after a haircut of course. How's that look?

Thank you. I'm hoping most people share that same mindset but that's not always the case so I want to play it safe.

that hairstyle is ridiculous for a professional setting. I would strongly recommend a clean shave as well. That matches what the older folks have been telling me. I'll visit a barber this weekend.
/r/askTRP07/09/18 10:57 PM
1

You look young. The hair is a bit of a statement. Some employers don't like statements. That's not me in the photo, This is what I look like. That's what I thought. For some fields the hair would be okay, but most people won't like the statement it makes.
/r/askTRP07/09/18 10:56 PM
2

Your current haircut looks ok That's not me in the photo. This is what I look like, but of course I won't sponge my hair for the interviews. I'll pick it out. I’d say you should have a fade but a lot shorter on top. How short are you thinking? Like this? Learning how to dress and speak well will go miles in how professional you look. Check out r/malefashionadvice I've been browsing that subreddit for 2 years and believe I dress well. Granted, my brown shoes need to be replaced, but for a majorit…

If you speak without using Ebonics you are already head and shoulders above other black men in the work force. I have that part covered then as I've been told that I speak white all my life and go to a PWI.

Gotcha, I'll see what I have to sell and then do so on either platform
/r/askTRP27/05/18 08:13 PM
1

Okay I gotcha. I've been doing Craigslist and OfferUp for a year buying but I've only sold 5 things there. Ebay takes 10% of computer things/camera things I wanna sell that's why I avoided that but if you say it's better I'm down
/r/askTRP27/05/18 05:16 PM
2

I thought I wanted to do computer science for the rest of my life but I don't like it. I could finish my degree and keep taking the online programming classes I've been taking and gain knowledge there AND have a degree to show for it. That's my current plan
/r/askTRP27/05/18 02:31 PM
2

Not at the moment. I see what you mean
/r/askTRP27/05/18 02:38 AM
1

My scholarship paid for everything up until this point. If my appeal is approved, I will finish Next year all paid for. The debt I have now is from fixing my car as it broke down a few months ago. But the whole thing is that I don't know what I want to do if I get the degree anyway, but I figured I'd be better off with the degree.
/r/askTRP27/05/18 02:06 AM
1

That's part of the thing. The courses I failed, I can retake and at my university it'll replace my failing grade with my new grade and only the new grade will be on my transcript.
/r/askTRP26/05/18 07:20 PM
2

Okay, I appreciate it. I just heard loans were the devil and to stay away from them as much as possible. I don't know how bad 60k is but if you say it's average, I'll manage with it.
/r/askTRP26/05/18 07:06 PM
1

No, it'll all come from Loans. I'm actually 5k in debt at the moment. I'm asking because I don't know what I'll do with my degree to where I'll earn the money back or it'll be "worth it" but I'm only getting the degree because more doors will be closed if I don't have a degree.
/r/askTRP26/05/18 07:02 PM
1

Sounds like you're saying having any degree + being 60k in debt > not having a degree and saving 60k. And if so okay, I'll continue with my education. Appreciate the response.
/r/askTRP26/05/18 06:59 PM
2

Ah, congrats. Thank you for your response.
/r/askTRP26/05/18 06:36 PM

Mind if you have a degree, what it's in and what you do now?
/r/askTRP26/05/18 06:34 PM

Does selling them on eBay net you more profit than reselling on Craigslist/OfferUp?
/r/askTRP26/05/18 01:23 PM
1

What do you do?
/r/askTRP26/05/18 02:34 AM
1

Alright thanks for the idea. I was doing this with camera equipment during the semester and I made a few hundred. I'll look for other things to flip
/r/askTRP25/05/18 08:32 PM
2

Thanks, I'll look more into this. I have a little invested into Crypto (150 put in January) but I'll do more research on the topic and learn how to make some money from it.
/r/askTRP25/05/18 06:49 PM

I'm great looking, but I'm not interested in homosexual activities. Thanks for the idea though
/r/askTRP25/05/18 06:48 PM

Did you get this nothing box from Patrice O'Neal? I've heard him talking about that on the black Philip show and was just curious
/r/TheRedPill24/05/18 02:43 PM
1

That's probably true. I have given people reason to dislike me, but being cocky/funny gets me girls and I'll admit sometimes I take it too far and some think I'm genuinely an asshole. Looks like I'll have to carve my own path. It'll be fun and I'm ready to do so
/r/askTRP03/05/18 03:27 AM

She's not "popular" but within our small 500 people she's well liked. Kind of a bumbling person who doesn't wish bad on anyone, not cool, but people know about her. Circumstances were, we've numerous had breakups and the most recent one was a fight we had and I basically said fuck it and fucked another girl. I thought it could be other things, but our mutual friends don't say hi to me anymore when I pass by them and the facts I presented in my original posts only started happening this semester
/r/askTRP02/05/18 08:20 PM
1

Well before this semester everybody liked me, besides people of the rival frat at our school. I didn't have trouble making friends and my reputation was good. But like you said, there could be something about me people don't like. I believe I'm a likable person but this situation proves otherwise, so I'll reflect today.
/r/askTRP02/05/18 07:04 PM
1

Yeah I have some issues and I got to figure that out.
/r/askTRP02/05/18 04:39 PM
2

Thank you for the explanation
/r/askTRP02/05/18 02:37 PM

That'd be nice, but we wouldn't workout. If I was with her I'd be only to make me feel better. I'm with another girl but the guilt is getting to me

I've apologized 2 weeks ago and was told I was forgiven, but it ain't feel like it. She sees me, turns around and heads the other way and I see her my stomach drops.

Most people on TRP aren't able to do that else they wouldn't have stumbled here. They'd be too busy being rockstars in their lives to be posting and reading reddit. For everybody, lifting has never had a negative impact on your SMV. So why not lift?
/r/askTRP25/12/17 08:20 PM
33

Rollo is an OG. Without his contributions we wouldn't be where we are. He also played in a band in his 20s and lived the rockstar life so the lack of lifting didn't effect him pulling girls since his SMV was already high from that.

A girl that REALLY has her shit together in her relationship doesn't befriend men who hit on her. That's the main takeaway that makes /u/dahcima s' point more valid
/r/askTRP04/11/17 05:41 PM
1

Thanks for this detailed guide. I've been applying most of it such as not posting political or sad shit, but the deleting things that didn't receive lots of likes I haven't done before. I'll keep these things in mind as I mold my page
/r/askTRP16/10/17 01:59 PM

We usually do it on the frat account but only 1/3rd of our service events. Is that enough that I don't have to post frat stuff on my personal account or I should still every once in a while
/r/askTRP15/10/17 09:28 PM
1

That's what I thought. It seems anti social not being on social media even a little and hurting the fraternity rather than helping it by showing things we're doing in the community
/r/askTRP15/10/17 08:59 PM
1

I know the validation part, But if group A doesn't post shit on their Facebook/Instagram And group B is always "out and about" in the community hosting events and doing service elsewhere Group B looks a lot more involved and fun that group A
/r/askTRP15/10/17 07:04 PM

Things like this are more what I mean https://imgur.com/a/r0a9I Imagine going to a new city for fall break and I put a caption like "when in Rome do as the romans" assuming I'm in Rome. Or does that still hurt my smv?

True that. So I'm overreacting from what could have been a worse issue than it is now and I need to behave better and chill tf out.

Yeah, she eventually went through my Facebook and saw when I was talking to my brother about it. A week later was when she started talking to her friend about what I did and what a jerk I am.

There was a party we were going to where that girl was gonna be there. She knows the girl likes me and I forgot what made her mad but she said "go on an fuck that little hoe you wanted to. You're single, I don't give a fuck" to where I replied "I'm not gonna fuck her" and she says " go ahead you're free. Do as you wish" With that my ego saw it as a good idea to do it so I did later that night.

Pretend like every girl is a mildly-ugly chick: "I don't care about whether I get any from her, but if the opportunity presents itself, I'll fuck her as long as no one finds out." You're able to summon just the right amount of masculinity, boldness, and disregard for their opinions to touch them, tease them, marginalize them, and boss them around. This actually makes sense why it's easier to flirt or attract girls when I have a girlfriend because I treat act as if "ill fuck her as long as no one…

I know exactly what you mean. A lot of the times I would rather watch porn and masterbate rather than have sex because it takes less energy, I can have a new woman to get off to and I can get back to reading/doing whatever I was doing faster. If it was another girl I see on the streets or my dorm I would have no problem fucking her in 2 seconds, but like the last girl I fucked, after you've fucked them a few times the novelty wears off and you're looking for your next target. Having sex with my …

20 y/o in college. Relationship: I've found that I want to spend less time with my girlfriend. We're in a new country studying abroad and the reason she decided to come along was because I asked her to. I was thinking it would be a honeymoon where we explore together, have frequent sex, and grow a stronger bond. So far, only the frequent sex is happening. We practically cohabit as her room is right next to mine but she's always in my room. (Bad thing to do/have, correct?) Being around a female f…

Very good way of looking at it. I'm 20 so I have time. The only reason I really feel like I'm missing out is because we're studying abroad together. When I first got here girls were all like "oh you're new here? Let me show you around ;)". "You haven't been to the clubs here before? I'll be your date!" This seems like a big deal to my because in America I'm too young to go to clubs or legally drink and here being a foreigner boosts my smv so I feel like I have even more abundance and options her…

How do you guys deal with the fear of missing out when you're not going to the bars/clubs 3x a week with the usual college crowd? I'm in a relationship and we have frequent sex, but as I listen to the guys and girls tell stories of what they did when they got back from the night I feel like I'm missing out of the experience of banging different girls and passing them around. I know in my head that doesn't really matter, but I feel like I should be doing it.

Thank you so much for your responses. Reading FRs where people say things like "we fucked like rabbits all weekend" had me assuming that going for 3 rounds on a daily basis should be normal around my age.
/r/TheRedPill05/04/17 01:04 AM

I've stopped jacking off and I have Sex daily. The days I have it more than twice I find it difficult to get I up the next day at least until I have a lot of foreplay. That's just the side effects of heavy lifting and frequent sex right? Only reason I'm worried is because in high school while I was going through puberty I could beat my meat 4-6 times a day (often within a few hours) and do it the next day, and then the next but it seems like I've lost that stamina.

I'm 20 years old and while I've had no problems weightlifting, some days I'm unable to get hard and other days I can stay hard for 3 rounds. As of recently this hasn't been an issue, but I'm not sure if this is a sign I should get my T Levels checked. Should I get them checked, and if so, where can I do it in The states

I'm 20. And I know I can't be good at them all. I mainly focus on weightlifting and reading. I draw because I like recreating art I look at and play guitar since when I stopped playing pokemon and final fantasy, I wanted to learn the music to the games and the violin I've been playing as a kid is limited in the number of pop songs it can play, so I picked up guitar. Gotcha, I understand what you're saying. I play league with my buddies who are at other universities to catch up and have fun, not disappear into a "fantasy land". I play basketball, lift, code, draw, play guitar and read for hobbies. I only mentioned those two since they're my favorite ones. Anything else I should do besides go camping again?
/r/askTRP27/03/17 06:53 AM

Haha thanks for the reply. I went camping last weekend (not this one but the one before that) and it indeed did help. It helped me realize I had these thoughts and feelings in me, but not understand why I had them or what to do about them. Enjoying games and music about games make me a faggot? So being 20, I can't enjoy the things I enjoyed 4 years ago? Interesting.

I've had the same issue if you check my post history. My decision came to this: If she's done everything in her power (besides say have a 3some or go fuck the other girls), why throw away something so good for, what you said, "scratching an itch"? That's like a drug addict wanting another hit of the drug just to relive the high. It's normal to want so, but think of the consequences. Or you could smash a chick on the low. I'm not talking about things as in material things, but rather rest, healthy food and water, and schedule/routine for optimal performance. Either the red pill is unilaterally true, or it is false but the purple pill very very difficult to achieve and there is some variable that is really not well understood. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I believe, charisma is making the other person feel warm and good around you. In this sense, talking to your daughter in a way she can't understand made her see you as not knowing what leadership meant and she got bored. If you would have talked to her in smaller words and in a time frame that her attention span can capture and maybe sprinkle some excitement in it, she'll be intrigued and feel smarter (the feeling good I was talking about earlier) a…

But if you go TRP all the way all the time, you will never find her because if you try to plate a genuinely good, relationship oriented girl, you're going to cause her some serious trauma and get a self-fulfilling prophecy of distrust and drama. Speaking from experience, this is very true and almost the reason my current relationship ended.
/r/askTRP10/01/17 01:42 PM

So how exactly do we support her Feelz then? My girl telling me that I'm too busy for her even though I have time and use that time to talk to her, she says I'm doing it because I'm obligated. What I did today was ignore her after that and she's messaged me to come over. Is that all I need to do to fix this issue or is there a bigger problem I'm not seeing?

As you've mentioned yes that is exactly what was going on. I remember my dad mentioning multiple times that "if I want to say I'm a grown man, he'll treat me like a grown man" by taking the things he's given me since I wanted to be independent so bad. Yes, I did change. Thanks for pointing out how bad the change was. If your leadership sucks, everyone has a shitty experience. That's what we're currently going through. You are honestly too young to lead a relationship. Is this something that'll come from age or from experience? I want to get better at this especially since I lead a few organizations and if my leadership is this shitty in one place, I'm sure that trickles to other places.

Focus on your education and making yourself into the strongest, most self reliant, most ambitious man that you can. Make your education and the development of your earning ability your top priorities. That's what I'm currently doing 90% of the time. The other 10% I'm not, its because I'm consoling some issue we had with her feeling unwanted because she didn't want to work out 6am, I left her to go work out and she's upset about that. Or that girl was flirting with me and I still have her a hug b…

If my wife still tried to be shitty, regardless of my actions, I would disregard her as a wife until she decided not being shitty was in her best interest. If your marriage is shitty and your wife is shitty, it's because you are shitty. Stop being a shitty faggot. Truer words have never been spoken. I don't commute but as I walk to classes I always have ear buds in. Studying? Earbuds. Showering? Music playing. Cooking? Music. I read physical books and pdf's on my laptop if I don't have the book yet. I started meditating for 20 minutes but I only find it bearable with, yeah as you can guess, music. So yeah, I have a huge problem with doing things in silence or without white noise I played football and basketball in high school so lifting was easy to continue in college. Like I said earlier i…

Thank you for this and you're completely correct about everything. Things happen in our lives because of the actions we took and didn't take to get them there. If I'm not going to continue pushing myself even though I'm "tired", I'll never get there. Of course we get tired, of course it's frustrating when your mind reaches the level of Chuck Norris but your body is still Peter Griffin. What if it's the other way around? Value is ... your income and expenditure for getting what you want from the world. Is it possible to accumulate value but there be nothing you want to spend it on? I've been improving myself all around, but there's not a specific thing I want to focus on "getting" with my value or goal I want to reach. It's like I'm saving money (value) just for the sake of having money. I don't have anything I want to buy, but I hear that having lots of money (value) is good so I'm getting more.

You say you like the "predictability" of LTRs, so I assume you at least partially encouraged this. But all this does is get you a sequence of boring girlfriends. You're not using TRP to be an engaging, attractive, exciting personality. You're mostly using it to psychologically bludgeon your girlfriend into submission. Which I wouldn't even judge, but you're clearly so fucking bored by it that you don't even want a girl who is willing to do this! This hurts reading because it is true. I have blud…

You're fucking right. Look at my post history, ask any of my friends around. ASK MY GIRLFRIEND FOR FUCKS SAKE. Before I do anything I research, ask around, find people who've done it before all because I'm scared to take risks. I remember my girlfriend told me "I know it's cool you read guides and everything, but don't you think you should go live your life and write your own story?" At the time I brushed it off thinking she didn't know better, but here I am, on an internet form, asking people f…

No, that's not what I was trying to say with this quote. I meant that I fucked up in the relation ship. I didn't set and enforce boundaries. I'm not blaming her, all the blame is on me. But thank you for taking your time to respond to me. Your last post really resonated with me and you've helped me answer my own question. I know what I'm going to do now.

This is MRP - where we try to make our relationships work. It sounds to me you should go to AskTRP - where you can look at how to make someone a plate Understood. I was wondering if I should try to make it work or just end it. At TRP all they say is "there's no snowflake. Next." and while I agree with it, some relationships can be fixed if the man knows what he wants and is willing to lead. But that leads me to your next quote: It sounds to me like you are not ready to settle down. that you do n…

No, it's not the best I can do. But do you blame the kid for growing up badly or do you blame the parents? I know I'm just reaching now, but I feel that a majority of this is my fault for not setting boundaries early enough. Best option would be to chalk this up as a loss and leave, based on everything you're telling me, correct?

because you're afraid of being alone Bingo. Yes, this is the truth I have been afraid to admit. How do I fix this? If I had no issue being alone, I wouldn't go through so much shit to not be alone. haven't fucked enough women to temper your emotional investment. She's the only girl I've fucked. We're each other's firsts. In the perfect world, that should make us happy and attached to each other, but I should also be man enough to lead the relationship which is where I've dropped the ball.

I agree, but the "breaking up" was nothing more then her getting upset and blocking my number/facebook, crying in her room for an hour, then coming to mine asking why I'm such a jerk and didn't go to check on her. It hasn't been over anything big.

"I don't know what I want in an LTR". Imagine how excited a dog gets to see their owner, the loyalty a dog has to it's owner. That's what I want. I just want a girl who is happy to see me, sees me as an asset in her life, and I view her the same. In order to have that, I need to be the man and uphold a specific standard and pass shit tests. I would like to think that I'm not. I've been on TRP for 2 years and after all that self improvement, girls are finally showing me attention and hitting on me without me doing much. That has gotten to my head and I forgot the promise I made to the girl I was with. That's what I think my issue is. Regardless, like you said, I need to be the type of man I want to be.

Understood and thank you. My main question is, why am I like this? Is it because of my lack of experience? Because I haven't had enough sex to see it's not all about sex? Because this is my first real relationship? Because she has everything I wanted, but when I first cheated on her a month in, since then, nothing's been the same. People in MRP want their LTRs and they're enhancing it by applying RP. No space for figuring out there, they already know. I see. So I shouldn't ask there then, for the second question. You want a woman that loves you unconditionally, like your mother does, but with sex. Basically, but not exactly. One thing that I can tell you is: If you don't fucking trust your girl 100% than just demote her to plate, it is THAT simple. Up until last night I could trust her 99.9%. Holy shit that makes a hell of a lot more sense when you spell it out like that. TRP tells you to work on improving yourself so that at the end of the day the possible outcomes are all positive: She leaves you for X reason but it doesn't matter because you were more valuable and can replace her. You decide to leave her because you feel you can do better/you don't like the way she's behaving. She sees your improvement and decides to up her game also. Look into behavioral economics. Read some Malcolm Gladwell. Learn C/C++ first to learn about all the trouble you can have with memory leaks and other things that C# and Java hide from you and will have to debug anyway. Better to have the experience going in. As much as I accept, the more truths I learn, the more I have to bear. The load never gets lighter, but it is okay, the price for vision and freedom is not paid by the weak. This is what I started experiencing once I got on trp for the first time. Everything made sense and I wanted to explain to my friends some of them thought I was crazy and a few understood. After a while I realized that very little people will understand many things about this world. I'm not saying that I'm some enlightened g…

I do this already. I'm not lost on what to do in order to feel better, as I've been here for a while as well as other sub reddits. It's just the feeling of isolation for an extended period of time that I fear. Imagine it like having a fear of heights. After conditioning yourself that you have no reason to be scared it goes away. That's what I'm trying to do to myself now about my fear of loneliness. Thank you all for being so caring and wanting to help a stranger online. It means a lot to me.

For the love of Christ you explain too much. You're trying to be a bigger woman than your woman. There is a time to just shut up and let her mind work. You're right. I do explain too much. It's something I'm working on not doing so much. You're the damn man. You're supposed to be a Caesar, a Conan. You corrected her conception of what you're about and she called you a liar. Which is good, no? Would anyone else flat out calling you untrustworthy to your face be just cool? Would you continue to wa…

People always tell me that I sound depressed online. Is that because I ask questions and ask about the real things that bother me? Ask anyone I know in person and I'm the farthest away from depressed. I go to the gym 6x a week and have been working out since August. I've started reading everyday. The only thing that I "struggle" with is studying consistently which is something I'm working on and being okay being alone. Im fine being in my room by myself as long as I know someone is next door or …

Thank you for your alternative view on this topic. Never in my life have I been that alone. I've been at the house alone as a child before but I can open the door and go to my neighbors and see people. But at a college dorm where no one is there on your floor, you can walk around butt naked, you can't even see people outside, being alone feels real. get off your ass and do something productive, you'll feel a lot better. notice that you specifically noted how you felt lonesome when you were layin…

That was a very beautiful reading. Thank you for it. Next time I have a break (summer probably) I'll take a hike and see what it's like being alone for real. Your spring break felt empty because of was. Normally people fill your life automatically. Without other people, YOU have to fill 16 waking hours a day. You did not do this, and were depressed as a result. If you cannot find 16 hours a day of self improvement, exercise, work, reading, school and fulfilling hobbies, AND stay motivated to kee…

How does one get over the fear of being alone? We now know that being alone is necessary sometimes, but how do we override the fear of it? I have, for a long time, wanted to be alone so I could read books, meditate, and do everything else I wanted to do but couldn't because of obligations. Come spring break and I'm one of the 20 people on campus and all I felt was alone. Half of the time I laid in bed and missed my family. You are overthinking this and I'm almost certain things in your relationship will go back to the way they were within a day. Things are fine now as if we never had that conversation last night. I'm wondering why this keeps happening and like you told me it could be lack of comfort. I would say work on including a little more comfort into your LTR. What do you think of the reply of /u/cj_aubrey Your success will not be found in the actions of a woman. Your major malfunction is the fact that you care enough about what she's doing to post here. This should be a discussion about vetting criteria and whether she's worth keeping or nexting.

Honestly her academics and plans for accomplishing her goals are none of my concerns. They are if this is your girl and if you are planning a long term future with her. That is not the primary lesson you should take from MRP. As of now, that's the plan. The only thing you can do is lead her and continue forward without her if she won't follow. Got it. It all makes sense now.

Like your edit. It seems you have your own life in order and on track to achieving your own goals. I do now. 3 months ago it was a shit hole (academically) Except for the fact that you can't seem to make your girl take what is in your opinion good advice, how is your relationship? It's okay. Not great by any means. Like you've seen I'm not a great leader or communicator. That is where I believe the root of my problem is. MRP is about becoming a man. First off using the word honestly can be a verbal crutch or it indicates anything but honesty. After all if you are being honest you don't need to qualify it. Very true. I will admit I am a poor speaker but will start reading the art of public speaking after finishing what I'm currently reading to work in that. This is the classic game of Happy to Help which is often followed by Schlemiel when opposed. The goal of happy to help for the player (your GF) is to get validation or reward for actions which are positive. When she doesn't receive these validation she will resort to Schlemiel which is intended to make you feel bad for her mistake or transgressions. Holy fuck I didn't realize there was a name for this. I wonder how many of us have plated a woman who would have been loyal, yet became just another alpha widow. That's what I was trying to get at. AWALT but some of them try their best not to be like that. There are some quality girls out there, just not many. Knowing which girl is worth promoting to LTR status (if that's your goal) and which ones you shouldn't promote I believe is an important part of TRP.

The worst thing you can do is be compassionate/considerate like you did. That's how you get stabbed verbally speaking. Never be soft. I don't believe I was soft in this scenario. Is one instance of unfavorable behavior really justification for ending it? Depends on what the behavior is. If she can do it once she can do it again. Back up even, if she's able to do it but doesn't do it, that's probably out of fear of you leaving her or respect. If she does it (in this case the silent treatment) she feels like she has power over you and wants you to start playing her game. For example, if you can bench 1.5 of your BW for 10, but can only do 5 pull-ups, you clearly have an anterior-posterior strength asymmetry, and will need to increase your pulling to pushing volume ratio. I mean that instead of pushing my squat @ 295 lbs, I work with lower numbers (135 lbs) and focus on keeping my feet pointed forward, not rocking at all. Or when working on fixing my bench keeping my arms equal lengths and not letting my left hand dip half an inch and have the bar dip a bit. Not taking off totally from the gym. I've become over concerned about little things. I had a 2.0 last semester in college because I didn't study. I flew through high school with a 4.0 so this wake up call has caused me to, before I do things, think and weigh the benefits especially how much it'll take away from my study time. You're thinking of all of this way too t…

5x5 is recommended because for beginners they need to build up their strength before focusing on purely aesthetics. With 5x5 you mainly do the big and heavy lifts (Squats, Bench, Deadlift, Overhead Press, Bent Over Rows) and with 3x10 programs you do isolation movements focusing on individual muscles (Bicep curls, calf raises, lat pull downs, rows, tricep pulldowns, etc.) It's recommended to start with 5x5 as that will help you increase your strength so when you do start lifting for aesthetics y…

However, no amount of aesthetics and social game can fool other men into thinking that you're a man. This might be an effective mating strategy in today's safe world but such faggotry would get you killed in a male-dominated environment such as the military or prison. How exactly does one become a man? I'm in a frat right now and I don't feel as manly as half of the dudes there, but I'm hoping that being around them will help build up my character. At the same time I do not want to depend on the…

If you're in a exclusive LTR and yet want to have other girls, it means you need to end your LTR. Forget the room switching and everything, you shouldn't even be with this girl. Yes, I understand this. This was meant implying that if she does decide to break up with me, I'll have my own place. I don't plan on cheating on her if we stay together. Also, TRP doesn't condone cheating on your LTR. The plate spinning theory demands that you be explicit in the fact that you are non-exclusive. Comprendo…

I'd read something and I'd go "So that's why my exes did that shit!!" and id feel like a cloud of fog was lifted from my vision. If I hadnt experienced the thing, it would be basically useless because I wouldnt be able to truly relate and internalize. Exactly what I was hoping to get at. No problem bro. Once you succeed once (and with a body like you described I'm sure you won't have a problem) the feeling you get from you pushes you out there more where you succeed again and then it builds up. Eventually it becomes natural for you and you know even if you don't succeed once, you have the tools that helped you succeed before, plus the insight on why one attempt went wrong leaving you even more prepared for the next approach.

I get what you're saying now. You wouldn't read that "you can fly if you want to bad enough", and then go out and jump off a fucking building. You don't believe it to be true, so you don't internalize it, and thus, you don't do it. This makes perfect sense.

That's on you. I would never dream of LTR'ing a girl I hadn't slept with, regardless of reason. True. You don't really know a woman until you've slept with them. What are some red flags I should look out for/was too naive to see? You haven't slept with her, and you have crazy oneitis. Reflecting on my thoughts this past week, I do. Not in the sense of attractiveness but in what she does, regardless, it's still oneitis. She's not a plate, she jumped straight from meet to potential (pretty much al…

What role does weed play in this? I often find myself busting out into a full grin often times even when sober, but when I'm high it feels more genuine. Like I know I have things to do tomorrow, but today is a good ass day, I'm alive, trees are around me and nothing bad can happen.

Those unattractive female friends are safe, comfortable, and familiar. Is that what you want? A cheap feelz fix? Do you really think it will be satisfying? You're exactly right. They're safe. No risk involved and I don't have to invest much to get them. Don't fall into the trap of thinking that you can only approach girls at late-night parties, bars, and clubs. You can meet people anywhere during your daily routine. I hate meeting girls at the locations you mentioned. The girls I went out with I…

Because of this, the contact I have had with women recently is low. I'm not looking for sex (yet), but if it happens, cool. Well this would explain a lot. I thought college was more taxing on me even though I go to the gym in the mornings 4-5 times a week. I thought I was supposed to have energy throughout my day but instead I felt drained. I look to my left and find my window all blocked up keeping the sun from coming inside. The basketball I play is indoors now instead of outside like high school, and the only times I go outside are to go eat or go to class. Starting with opening up my blinds, I'm going to make an …

women should also not treat men like women and always expect supportive and enabling reassurance. Yeah, I fully agree. Thing is, most guys are okay with that hoping she'll eventually see that they're the right one for them and are willing to put up with the bullshit hoping for that relationship in the end. Until the guys stop acting like that, women will continue to use it.

Problems arise between the sexes when people seek bonding across the gender divide. When a man asks a woman for advice, she tries to empathize (that sucks...) and begins to see him as weak when he becomes more frustrated (why isn't she helping?). When he tries to challenge her opinions in order to understand her values, she becomes defensive because she considers it an attack, and he considers her too sensitive. I asked my ex for advice about things going on in my life and she didn't offer anywa…

This, this is the thing I've been missing all my life. I often times try to speak in a group setting and get cut off and feel like Jaden. This explains so much. In a situation where I am Jaden and a guy like Will is in the group with me what should I do? Should I respect that he's above me status wise or still try to challenge him if I have something to say? I can see either one backfiring depending on how he responds or how I attempt each plan.

Age of consent is 18, okay. OP bought her a drink tho. She had a fake ID meaning she wasn't 21. If she calls police or something and she ends up under 18, OP is in for statutory rape. If she was over 18, but still under 21 (which she is because of fake ID) then OP could be arrested for giving alcohol to a minor, or using that to cloud their thinking then having sex with them (think of date rape, but not as strong). Question: Why am I scared to death to go to the gym this summer? I've been going for the past 3 years but everynight before I sleep, I keep telling myself I can skip tomorrow and just sleep in. Lessons learned: Good sex is not enough to make a woman faithful. They have free and unlimited access to dick. If she wants it, she can get it. She was horny for me, but I wasn't there. I gave her commitment and emotional validation as well. It still wasn't enough. Nothing. These hoes ain't loyal.

If feminists were right about men then feminism wouldn't exist because men would just destroy it and anything else stupid that resembled it. I wish this was higher up. Society is just screwing itself and I'm hoping to get through college before any major crazy shit happens. They're already making up take 2hr+ online courses on how sexual assault is NEVER the victims fault. Who knows how much feminism will screw up in the years to come?

To really live life, means biting down on the bitter taste of loneliness and mediocrity, and pretending it doesn't taste like shit. Loneliness is something I used to be afraid of especially after my girl and I broke up, but now, after going to the weightroom and reading books, I look and notice I have no one to do things with. No SO. Kind of makes me look back on my past relationships and try to relive the feelings I had back then. Looking around and everyone is a couple makes me feel some type …

Thanks for the long explanation. I'm really selling myself short because I assumed that because the things I do aren't interesting to the lay-person that they're not interesting at all. It's more about being interesting as a person, as well as communicating it well with the people that would be interested in it. For example, he's got girl issues. But honestly, hanging out with the guys who's idea of a great friday night is playing league till we pass out isn't the best. I wouldn't mind doing that once in a while, but honestly, there's more to life, I feel they're trying to tell me. If you think it's boring, it's boring; don't do it. Personally, I love watching LCS League of Legends games (like playoffs for League). I find it interesting comparing what I would have done compared to what somebody else would have done. But still, I don't believe anyone is "naturally boring" if they're honest. That's why people like to bond over drinks, it makes you speak without filtering yourself as much. Drunk words are sober thoughts. As a result, the conversation flows easier. To an extent. I guess I'm not naturally boring, but for example, I read something that made a lot of sense to me. If you are not naturally an exciting person, do not engage in small talk. Being dry or boring is almost always a one-way ticket to Vagina Desert. Yeah I'm boring as fuck. I don't do much. I play tennis, take my classes, go home, play games and take care of siblings. This will all change next year when I get into college

Alright H for her and M for me. M: Hey H: Hey M: What's up H: not much M: how was your weekend? H: ok M: what did you do? H: blah blah blah M: that's cool. How was xxx H: it was ok M: oh nice

Then you're fucked. Simple as that. What happens if you have to parachute jump from a plane before the plane crashes but you don't have the motivation to? You die. Simple as that. I know losing family is hard but if you're more hung over your girlfriend breaking up with you than your dying grandmother, this shows how dependent on her you are. If I were you I'd spend as much time with Granny as I can now before it's too late. Tell her you love her while you still can and if she passes away (may h…

You want to be her friend? Then you're not going out with her. You want sex, you're going to either get sex, or lose her as a friend. It's up to y I u to determine if you wanna waste your type or spend it in other girls you can get sex from.

Yeah I know guys who are doing this promposal and I also know an all girl group planning to go if no guys ask them out. It seems like a bunch of girls will go there for validation then go to an after party if there is one. Should I just go to the after party?

/r/TheRedPill06/03/15 02:05 AM

I agree with this, except I don't know shit about relationships. Sounds good though, making her jealous and showing her that you have options and if she leaves she can be replaced. Sorta like mini-dread.

I wouldn't consider my self grown as I still do childish things, but this was a real kick in the gut and eye opening experience Holy shit I still have the messages. Please bear with me. Looking back on it this was the worst thing I have done in my life. This is from last summer. My ex and I broke up and I was heartbroken then I sent her this letter: Katy, I know you don't want to talk to me but I have to tell you how I feel. Holding it in has been the worst decision I've made. During freshman ye…

Well it's something like that, but I play games as a means to prove that I'm better than the person I'm going against. If I win, my ego/confidence grows and if I lose I get butt hurt. It's been like this ever since I had to give up football, so I'm guessing this is what I do for competition though it's unhealthy to be outcome dependent.

Sounds like you quit a lot. You should beat yourself up a little about that and try a little harder to see things through to earn more of your own self-respect. You're right. If I would relate this to anything it'll be an alcoholic saying he'll quit after 1 more drink, but has been saying that for a year. Secondly, if you do fall off the horse, don't ever stop getting back on. Keep restarting even if you know it's possible you might quit, and make it last as long as you can. Discipline is just a…

Another thing I would touch on is that this may be partially biological. Eating right will provide your mind with the nutrients that you need to think straight. Lifting will give you the testosterone boost that will help you gain confidence in yourself. Sounds like you're not occupying you free time with enough activities that are self-improvement driven. This free time is why your mind is dwelling on the trivial things that are going to be, in hindsight, minimal and inconsequential. Alright. Du…

What if you fall between the two? Mondays through Wednesdays I'm usually focusing hard on my school work so I'm often silent, but wed through Friday I'm usually down to talk to people and become outgoing again.

Alright. I'll realize this. Another flaw I think that is my greater one, is my lack of ability to communicate. I stutter and sometimes speak too fast and trip over my words. Will talking to everyone I see at school help me with this in time? Sorry if I sound repetitive. I thought I was a confident person, but turns out that a only in tennis, basketball, league of legends, and talking with people I know. Not to strangers.
/r/askTRP21/02/15 02:47 PM

I see the direction I need to help now. You know any fake confidence or fast confidence things I can do for Tuesday? cunt of a heroin addict for a good 6 years Drugs do shit to you and make you act a certain way. You know those bad boy thugs girls see on TV and wanna fuck? You resembled that. Also you give off a wild lifestyle with surprises around the corner and chicks dig that.
/r/TheRedPill21/02/15 01:27 PM

Edit: also, do not record anything without consent. Its not only inadmissable in courts (usually) it's often illegal. Fuck that. Record that shit. Just don't go blabbering about it. If you have some evidence only tell your Lawyer. They might be able to jump through some holes and have the evidence save your ass.

Thanks for this. I took a lot out of it. So since I'm still growing, I have a lot to learn from growing up. I should focus on my Future and fun and then everything else will be fine. And yeah, I have about 15-17% body fat. Not sub 12% like I wanted yet, but a I get older I'll have time to join a gym.

I agree with what you're saying. Coincidence is something that plays a part in it, but the reason I'm not confident about it is because, like you said, my social skills aren't up to par. Playing new sports or taking a new class I can do with confidence (or fake it well) even though I know nothing about it. Talking to people, not so much. I'll talk to people I don't know daily to see if that helps my conversation skills. Thanks.

Let's say I got a girlfriend and she wants to spend time with me, what exactly do I do with her? Women reflect the man in the relationship. She will be interested in doing the stuff that you do, because she wants to spend time with you. Set the frame, hold it and she will follow. What to do with your girlfriend? Fuck her furiously probably. Acknowledged. Now I know not to buy them gifts and stuff for no reason, but the complement thing I see no monetary harm but know the beta Ness it reflects on…

Most people trying to spout off the kind of shit I get away with would look like huge, arrogant dicks. That's what I was worried about, but saying gotcha or psyche will let them know I'm joking expecially if I chuckle at the end or say something like "you really believed me? "

The second crucial point is to ensure your teasing does not collapse into an emphasis on cuteness, tickling and funny voices that is often conflated with a couple’s inside jokes. You’re aiming to be the affectionate bully, not the touchy friend. Too much familiarity in a tease and you’re just earned yourself a ticket to the comfortable but lust-free “sweatpants and a messy bun” by 9pm. Yeah, I often find my teasing ending up like this. I feel that because of my stature and the stature of the gir…

It's in the way you say it. If you say it like shut up about this!!11 then you sound buthurt, but if you just say "I've had enough of this, or I'm tired of hearing it" it sounds more like you're in control of your emotions. You know how as a kid adults used to make fun of kids who resulted to cursing when they don't have other words to use (because of their small vocabulary)? Swearing at unneeded times makes you look immature and like you're having a tantrum or some shit, idk

I thought that trp was a joke when I first came here, but after being here for a year the stuff actually works, though your mileage may very. What I picked up was to work on building up yourself physically, mentally and financially. Once you're in good standing then feel free to pursue women. I should do things to draw attention to my self and show that I'm willing to do what I do despite what others might think? Or the part about the actual dancing just thought about that.

Appreciate it. Compared to the other girls at the school, she's about a 7. Nothing too great, but it was the fact that I didn't know her like that. We say hi in the hallways but that's about it. The other girl orbits me when she gets the chance but ever since I stopped coming to her she does that less. And I forgot all about the jealousy thing. If I'm with an a girl it will raise my value and make other girls want me more.

Thanks for this in-depth analysis. I probably should have asked more girls to dance, but I lacked the confidence in my dancing abilities to do so. Had it been something else like sports, picking teams, etc. I would have no problem doing so. I'll make sure to attend more social gatherings.

Yeah. I can't let this keep me from my goals. Honestly I think I've been trying to integrate based on skin color instead of interests since the type of people I share interest with aren't black and I guess others give me shit for that for some reason. I'll learn to block it out and hang with people that value me.

It's too much for me. Back when I was in Africa I never saw a woman challenge a man like these American black women do. Some of them aren't afraid to get physical against a man. Ah I see where you're coming from. Since I was young, my parents forced us to speak Igbo at home no english. Because of that I speak Igbo as well as people who have lived in Nigeria all of their lives (aside form my accent). The bribry I've heard a lot about but my parents have connections and people they know (as well as siblings) so they don't have to worry about it as much. I probably have to so I'll hold off on that. Vietnamese people love karaoke. My homeboy always complains that every time…

Yeah, Nigeria is where I'm from. I've only been once last summer and it was a joy seeing family I've only talked to over the phone. Vietnam, since a lot of my friends are from there (as well as my favorite teacher) I decided to visit there to know what it was like for them growing up and stuff. And yeah, the language is difficult. England and Germany I'll look into as well. And France, well I love food so it'll be a good place to stop by also.

Took me a long while to figure out that you can basically say "fuck them!". Never really thought I could just tell them that easily. Honestly, I don't think I've ever told anybody to fuck off or fuck themselves in a non playing manner. Just don't see myself as the type of person to do that. But I guess I have to man up and seize control of my life if I wanna enjoy. About traveling out of the country, I'd like to go to Mexico, Spain, Japan, Vietnam and back to Nigeria. So far that's my list.

Well I went to one quinceanera. I forgot that. Thanks for giving me this positive look on things. I thought that I needed to be associated with a group to feel accepted. I guess this makes me mixture of many of them. And yeah, the hood dudes have lots of fun partying doing drugs and girls, etc. I sorta want that sometimes too, but my friends (and others) see me as not that sort of dude. "You're better than that" and all other things to keep me from being like them.

My parents want me to stay out of trouble, and make good grades since I'm aiming to be a neurosurgeon or family practitioner. But trp also advocates having social game which is where I'm very weak. As a sheltered kid, I wouldn't say I'm socially awkward, but I don't have a lot to talk about. I don't watch movies or TV, rather watch exports than regular sports, and rarely get to go out (taking care of 5 siblings). If she can fuck some other dude before going out with you, think about how she views you. She doesn't see you as the wild crazy man she wants to have hot sex with, rather the guy who can financially support her and she's trying to buy all of that with her sex. Her pussy isn't worth it. If she won't give it up to you, her boyfriend, but will to some stranger, drop it like it's hot.

Yeah drinking I'm gonna start (at least see what it's like) in college once I get away from home. What do they give you that other girls don't? Attention. They mess with you, walk over you and you like it because you're still getting their attention and you feel validated. This reminds me of when I was in a crappy relationship where it sucked but hey, at least I'm not single amerite? She gave me hugs and kisses, but it felt like she was doing it because she had to. Yeah, you're right. I'll accept this. I'll just play it as it is and when it's over it's on to the next one. Thanks for this bitter lash of reality. I was all up in my feels again.

She's been more submissive since I stopped letting her take charge of the relationship and a lot more touchy, but this is only the first day and we're in the "honeymoon phase"

Yep. I did everything I wasn't supposed to, but luckily I found this site. So I need to, for example, go 80/20 Alpha to balance the past before I go to 50/50 mode?

This post has a lot of insecurities about how you feel. But what is the observable reality of the situation? You gave us your feelings. What I'd like to see is how she behaves. Depending on her behavior you can tell whether or not to turn up or down the beta/alpha. Yeah, I'm being way to critical about this. I'm in my head and already jumping to worst case scenarios because it happened before. If I'm being my self before she came in there's no reason I can't remain like that.
/r/askTRP06/05/14 10:36 AM

No, you're right. Going back to my old ways will give me the same result it did last year.

That's the thing. After not seeing each other for almost a year she's seen the new "Alpha" me. The problem I have is that it's easy to be alpha and aloof when you don't give a fuck about the people you're with. My past conditioning is what I am reliving (our past relationship) and I don't want to get into that again.

Forget about women right now. This is your life on the line. You need to work on your self improvement (what you're doing right now). After you finish your studies you have 40+ more years to chase women. Remember: you are the prize. Women swoon over a good man so work and make yourself a great man. Don't chase the women. Once you're done, they'll be chasing you.

Greatly appreciate this. I've never looked at it like this and this is a bit skeptical to me, but it sounds believable especially the part about them wanting you to major in something and then just use you. But now that I think about it, most owners of big business are going to pass down their wealth down generations and hire people like us to work for them and get bossed around. I'll look into opening my own medical clinic like my parents are trying to do. Again, I appreciate this a lot.

I think that's where my current group of friends are headed to. Two years ago we used to do our homework when it was assigned, last year the day before it's due, not we just don't give a fuck anymore and turn it in late. I've decided to go back to my former state when I was on top of my shit. Not just "living life and taking it easy". You want something? You have to work for it. Thank you for sharing your story.

I completely understand this. I've been the "Time Ho" for quite some time now and I just realized it when the girl I was hanging with told that she's "glad that we're such good friends now" (instead of after our breakup). I took a step back and asked myself, If I'm not getting into her pants or have any plans of doing so, why am I here? So yeah, we'll be acquaintances. Monk mode seems good for my current position in life. Making 6 figures in the future>being a "Time Ho"

I'm not even hanging on the rejection. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. I'm just glad that I took a shot. You have the target fixation issue, where this girl is becoming a valuable object to you, instead of just "one of the hundreds of girls" that are around you. Not exactly, but this girl particularly interests me. I'm guessing you don't have a very good father figure who's mentoring you about the things guys should be doing your age? My father is good father figure. Raised in Africa, but what he's told me was to focus on my studies and disregard females. They're nothing but trouble now. But the re…

That's only a little part of my problem. The thing is my past relationships I let the girl be in charge so she would be happy and they didn't end well. The girl I'm into is a timid Asian girl. When I play tennis after school with the guys and she wants to join she always apologizes to me when she messes up. None of the other girls do, just her. In the top 10 (8 girls 2 guys) each of the girls are in a relationship at least 6 months long. The freshmen and sophomore girls are another case though, but 17yr old and 14-15 yr old. I've been told it's kind of pedo (though we're both under 18). What's your take on that?

Oh dear god. I remember last year when I wrote my ex an essay longer than my essay for my world history test. Nine hundred and eighty-six words. Fuck that helpless feeling man. Just keep this in mind: When you feel that bullshit you think is love - the lump in your stomach, the pitter-patter of your heart, the constantly thinking of her, waiting for her texts and so on... That means you're too invested and you need to back the hell out of the situation. That's not love, it's just your body releasing chemicals and making you temporarily insane. Remember that.
