What to do in a relationship

I'm surprised no one has suggested this yet, but at 17 you should not be so worried about relationships but just getting laid. Have fun while you are young and the girls are less experienced and more experimental. Of course you need to focus on your academics and develop skills in cool or useful hobbies too, but I would take advantage of this precious time in your life when you can have a ton of fun while partying. Do the things you will regret not doing when you get older, but remember to be safe!

At 17, your drive should be academics and extracurriculars with the long term goal of being accepted in a good college (if college is your plan). Focus on developing your SMV which will pay dividends down the road.

That being said, try to develop some fun hobbies that involve being social. Think rock climbing or salsa. Then when you have a girl she'll love to join into your exciting life. Don't frame a relationship as you dancing like a monkey to keep her entertained. There's always a monkey that can dance better than you.

17, high school - you're going to experience a lot of weird feelings, and a lot of failures/successes in these years. Enjoy it, and keep experimenting with what you like.

Trust your "gut" feeling on a relationship, and if it fails, well that's a bummer, but there will always be another opportunity.

Your perspective is very limited, so a bad relationship feels like you're a bad person. Realize that experience is the best way to learn, so keep trying.

This is bullshit. Wait until you're working 60+ hours a week, maintaining hobbies, and spinning plates. Don't sell yourself short.

As far as wait to do, read the sidebar on /r/theredpill. This isn't the majority opinion, but I think any type of girlfriend game or long term relationships are outside of advanced red pill theories. Although you're young so it can be harder to spin plates since your SMV is probably pretty low.

Don't worry about relationships. Just get laid.
