I can't imagine a situation where a guy would "slip" and accidentally use one of these terms. But, with that aside, if normal people in society don't use PUA language, how would a woman recognize it if a guy used it?

The early seduction community grew on the internet around technically oriented men in the computer and aerospace industries. Many of them had never discussed their sexual issues with anyone, not an older brother or father or anyone at all. Some didn't even know how to describe their problems in words. But they all had one thing in common: an understanding of processes and technical language to describe them.

So the seduction community provides a language and a framework that helps people discuss their personal problems in an abstract way that separates the personal, subjective matters from the psychological and behavioral issues. This is just a starting point, but it helps people easily understand the concepts. Jargon is just a quick reference to a larger concept that is harder to describe, it is the doorway into a method of thinking.

And you know who first told me this? A feminist who took some time to learn about the pickup community. She was a general critic of many aspects of what this community represents, but she said this language and framework was the best and most important concept in the entire history of the community.

Then how would you read this subreddit? Or any of the actually useful advice on the internet?

I mean yeah, you could read dating tips from huffington post blog, and wikihow, and enjoy easy-to-digest terms like "just be yourself" and "your potential courtship partner", but how would you ever learn to fuck a hot woman?
