Eh, it's a slight red flag, for sure. I don't like talking to girls that still have their ex's in the picture. It's a sign they haven't really moved on and it could mean they aren't really emotionally (or physically) available to you. It basically makes it all more frustrating than it needs to be -- since she won't really be putting her "all" into getting to know you when she's still into someone else. It's not fair, basically.

But I could be jumping the gun here a little, but I still don't like it, tbh.

It's good she was honest with you about that though, to her credit.

If you MUST (again, I recommend finding someone else) -- I'd put the moves on her and mess around with her. If she still continues to talk to him 1-2 weeks into fooling around with you, it's a problem. At this point if all you're doing is talking I guess she has a right to pine for her ex.

It's messy though -- basically the ideal girl has no ex's and is looking to meet and mingle. If there's an ex in the picture, it's just extra baggage that can get in the way of a truly good time, basically.

As you get to know her she should be thinking about the fun she had with you and how cool and awesome you are -- not wasting time and emotional energy on the phone with her ex while you're at home jerking off. Not cool.. ;)
