Had good success online, want to get into cold approach more. I live in a big city (NYC) and the lack of significant eye contact is crushing my ego with this. Most girls walk by looking kinda mad/stone faced. Not sure what to do. How much does this affect cold approach game?

For more context, I'm not a bad looking guy. Most girls would prob say I'm cute--and as I said I've gotten laid a lot from the usual dating apps.

But when I'm walking around this city girls just stare ahead blankly as they pass, makes me feel like approaching would not be good. Just looking for some guidance here.
