Wait, she likes you as her boyfriend, but not as her boyfriend? what? I always thought that i knew the meaning of this word... but obviously i don't.

Wow, so this happened in the range of a single year? That is quite a lot! It also sheds some light on her inner workings. Have you had sex yet? I guess no, since normally such a gigantic weight loss leaves stretched out skin that doesn't look so nice and needs surgery to get rid of. Why am i saying that? Simple: I bet she's feeling veeeeeery insecure about that, and since you gave her an outlook on what's to come, i assume you meant you would like to be in a committed relationship with her after getting to know her a little better, while also assuming you haven't been intimate with her yet, it would make sense that she was panicking. Basically she most likely thinks something like "Oh my god! If he see's me naked he will never want to be with me anymore!"

What you should do now is the following: Don't try to confront her about this talk, but also don't try to make it like it never happened. You have to find a middleground between not confronting and letting her know you are aware of her feelings. Give this friendship a chance, and don't get fooled by that term. You went forward to make it a relationship, and she did the same in the other direction. If you are smart, you take that offer and still seduce her. Be aware though of her insecurities, and think for yourself if she is worth the effort you will have to put in to get her into a comfortable position where she starts to trust you. Oh, and never initiate that relationship talk, that is something women do, not men.

Don't be freaked out or mean about it. Girls don't work on logic, they work on feelings, so if you're trying to figure out how she processes information you will fail.
