how do you approach a group of girls dancing in the club?

Dance in the same vicinity of them, make sure you're actually having fun, get eye contact with one of the girls in the group, smile big, and then hold your hand out toward her to take it, when she does give her a spin, bring her in close and now you're dancing with her, and can talk to her while doing that if you want.

Start dancing like an idiot with them. If one of them is interested they'll likely start dancing with you more directly. If none of them are, they'll move away. Sounds dumb, but it shows that you don't really care and that you're just there to have fun.

In a club, I'm approaching the club, not any particular girl. I'm there to dance, drink,and have a blast. Girls typically just start dancing with me, then after one does it all of them do it.

I know what you're describing though, it feels like you're on the outside of the group of girls.

Well, in my world, those girls are on the outside of my fun world, and I'm already having fun.

Know why girls are there? They're looking for my world! Just gotta show them it's there!

I have read this somewhere on goodlookingloser and it works great for me: gently touch her elbow and just say hi/hey and smile. She will smile or say something and you are in. Full disclosure: I usually don’t do it with mixed sets (but it may work as well).
