As a girl, I always offer to pay and I don't mind splitting but if the guy insists he's got it, then that's fine too. Is she offering to pay by this point? Because it would be polite if she was... When you get the tab, pay but if she offers, then take her up on it. If not, I would judge her a bit for not wanting to split.

If you're truly broke, then I wouldn't judge you if you asked "do you mind if we split?"

Also "I guess I shouldn't because we didn't have any intimacy" - you're not paying for sex or time, unless she's an escort. It doesn't depend on that. It's more of a gesture, if you can afford it. If not, just ask to split.
