I have something going on where it's not really typical approach anxiety (where you're scared of her reaction in the moment), but it's more a fear having my ego crushed much more. Like, i'm not sure that it's wise to sink much lower in terms of confidence and just completely confirm my suspicions! I mean, How healthy can constant rejection really be for your brain?! lol

Almost like i'd rather kid myself that I COULD do OK if I was approach a certain girl rather than actually approach her, get a bad rejection, and then just have my confidence further eroded, which then probably effects my next approach if that makes sense.

Last night there was a stunning girl in a bar and I thought about approaching her. I didn't even get the 'bitch butterflies' or anything as i'm kind of over 'classic' AA now, but I just didn't want to keep playing the rejection over in my head in the days following the rejection that I was bound to get and so didn't bother

It just feels so hopeless at times. I've made so many approaches it's crazy
